"I have had fungal toenails on 4 toes for decades. I used one bottle of Jublia and could see improvements. Unfortunately, partway through the second bottle, I developed an allergic reaction - severe itching and blistering. It is too severe to continue. One application causes the severe blisters, redness, itching, and weeping. It is disappointing but not uncommon for me to develop skin allergies. I have also developed reactions to tea tree oil, Vick's Vapor Rub, benzoyl peroxide."

"Used Jublia for 2 years now to treat one nail. At the beginning, I thought it was working well, the color of my nail changed, and I could see the nail becoming healthier. However, after a few months, when I was expecting it to be cured, the fungus started appearing again. Since then, for more than 2 years, it is an on-and-off story. Every time I say it is getting better, the fungus reappears. Pretty much a waste of time and money, except that it prevented the fungus from spreading to other nails."

"I have been searching for some way to get rid of this toenail fungus for 10 years with no success. I was hopeful that Jublia would work. I applied every morning for over 6 months to no avail. Not only does it not work (like all the others), but it damaged the skin around my nails also. I am so, so frustrated that this is yet another failed attempt to treat this disease. Can't believe that the medical and drug industries are using another disease to rake in money and keep the disease alive. Shame on all of you."

"You can get a manufacturer’s coupon that will reduce the cost from $700 to $65. Only one coupon every 30 days, though, and a bottle doesn’t last 30 days. I also bought an OTC and used Jublia in the morning and the OTC at night. My nails were about 50% involved in the early stages and were clear in 6 months with new growth. BUT less than a month later, the fungus started thickening my nail again. So it is not penetrating as advertised to the nail bed. 8 years ago, I did laser treatment when two nails were in VERY bad shape. Grew back clean and stayed clean until last year."

"This is an ungodly expensive, worthless medicine ($2,000 a month) which gave me head-splitting headaches (never had any before using this terrible drug). As soon as I stopped it, the head pain went away. I suspect my podiatrist is getting kickbacks. He couldn't wait to get me on this junk, and they even immediately mailed it to my house with no copay. It has a dismally low cure rate, and I cannot understand why this nasty, ineffective drug got FDA approval."

"I'm using Jublia right now - so far, so good. I started to use Jublia about 2 months ago after noticing that my toenail is thickening and yellow. My podiatrist confirmed that it's a fungus and warned me that Jublia has only a 40% success rate. As I didn't want to take the oral medicine (liver risk or something like that), I decided to try Jublia. My toenail is still a bit thick after 2 months, however, the color is white again and it looks much better. Will definitely continue with Jublia for all the 11 months. I got a prescription ($25 copay per bottle) via some pharmacy plan that my podiatrist recommended."

"I've had bad toenail fungus for the last 5 years. I've lost 3 or 4 toenails because of it (one of them being the nail on my big toe). After 18 months without a new nail on my big toe, I asked my podiatrist, who prescribed Jublia. It's true that it is a very slow-working treatment, but after 4 months of using it, I finally have almost 3/4 of a nail on my big toe. My other smaller toenails that were thick and yellow are no longer like that. The yellow color is gone, and they are significantly thinner. I will use this the full 11 months because with the results I've seen so far in 4 months, I am confident in the next 7 months I will be fungus-free."

"I was struggling with a pesky toenail fungus on my right big toe for about 2 years. I tried bleach, vinegar...none of the home remedies worked. After trying everything, I consulted my doctor, who prescribed me Jublia. Luckily, it was covered by my insurance at the time because it's quite expensive without. I only had one month's prescription, but it lasted me several months of applications. I was skeptical, but from the single month's prescription, my toenail slowly grew out over the next year into a healthy nail. I couldn't be happier. I couldn't afford more prescriptions at the time, so luckily the problem was taken care of with the single prescription. I was advised by my doctor to continue taking it until the nail grows out, about 6 months."

"True, it does take time, but for the first time in over a decade, I'm free of toenail fungus! What a relief to be able to wear flip-flops without gnarly, nasty toes. I never let anyone see my feet out of shame. I had tried every single medication and 'cures' available. The transformation over time is amazing, and I'm so grateful."

"I have taken Jublia for 40 weeks now. Almost the required 48 weeks. Of the five infected toenails, 2 are completely cured, 1 is still infected with no change, 1 is 50% cured, and the big toe is probably 80% fungus-free. So it is better than nothing, but it definitely isn't the cat's pajamas in fungus treatment."

"I have been using Jublia for 3 months now. I apply it every evening, keep the nail clipped, filed, clean, and dry. No improvement. Woke up this morning to find red, itchy, and blistered skin and clear pinkish fluid oozing from under my nail! It looks very painful, but I don't feel a thing, thank goodness! While I'm waiting to hear back from my Dr., I'll fill you in on the cost. First, I went to CVS to find out it was $628.00! Received a Walgreens coupon from my Dr., which my insurance allowed for $125.00."

"Have been using this product for about 6 months and have seen a healthier toenail. A trip to a salon for a pedi gave me this condition. I'm discouraged reading the other reviews, my hope was for a complete cure, however, there is improvement, time will tell. I've been told it can take up to a year for treatment to work completely. My nail isn't as thick, and the skin around the nail bed isn't as dry and peeling. I'm lucky my insurance and co-pay coupon have resulted in zero out-of-pocket cost. Jublia is insanely expensive."

"Been using Jublia for 10 months. Was getting detachment of the nail on the big toe, and the doctor said 8 of the 10 toes had some stage of infection. Now just have a spot on one toenail with clear growth halfway up the nail. I used it as instructed, and I'm one of the fortunate ones - I am nearly clear of the toenail fungus now. Will keep it that way by never getting a pedicure ever again."

"After 21 years of toe fungus and trying everything, this (combined with laser treatment and topical Clotrimazole all over the skin of the foot for the first couple of months) has finally worked for me! I started about a year ago, with the two months of Clotrimazole on the surrounding skin. Did laser treatment at the beginning. Now all nails are 100% clear. I continue to use Jublia on the last nail to clear just for good measure, but I don't use it on the others at all anymore - they are that clear! This is nothing short of a miracle. By the way, I did laser before and Clotrimazole many times as well without great results. I got these results by adding the expensive, but oh so worth it, Jublia. I also change my socks frequently and wash them in very hot water. Good luck, brothers and sisters in toe fungus!"

"First off, I have to say I'm in the early stages of using Jublia, and it's as if the fungus is 'fighting back' - a few nails have become worse since I started. I am going to give it a chance though, despite the $125 per bottle cost."

"This actually is very effective for me. I've been on it for 6 months, and 2 of my toes are now healthy and normal, with the other 2 improving. The $200 price for 8 mL is just disgusting, but if you can afford it, it's worth a shot. I've used a bottle and a half now, and I doubt I'll need a third. So $400 to fix my nails and my confidence isn't too bad, I guess."

"Both feet affected, used prescription Lamisil for 3 months, which totally cleaned up right foot, all toes. Then Zeta Clear on left foot for 4 months...nothing. Filed nails every 2nd day to keep them thin and clean. Switched to Jublia ($55) for a tiny brush on bottle. Nothing, after religiously applying as instructed for 4 months. That's it, will not waste any more money and just file away regularly."

"Big toes had separation for 30 years. In the summer, wearing sandals, it slightly improved, but 1/3 of my nails were not connected to the nail bed. Always self-conscious, if I wore polish, it got worse and turned black. Started Jublia 10 months ago with great results. I file the nail and cut it as short as possible. I use a dental pick to scrape any gunk from under my nail. I wait 15 minutes after my shower to make sure my nails are dry, so the med wicks into the nail. I also put it on before bed, so I use it twice a day. I haven't used polish, but my nails look fantastic. I have insurance and pay $50 for 3 months, I would gladly pay more because my nails have never looked this good. I'm anxious to find out if I can ever do without it."

"My comments are for the company that makes Jublia. The first prescription was free; I'm not sure if my insurance paid at the time or if it was a promotional gimmick. I went back to get my second prescription filled, and the insurance won't pay for Jublia until you've been on Lamisil. The cost for Jublia 4 mL is $600.00. Highway robbery for consumers and insurance companies. So unless you have a 'fat' wallet, don't waste your time. The average person can't afford this medication."

"Beware! Make sure your podiatrist tests your nails for fungus! I saw three podiatrists that did not test and wanted me to take Lamisil. I refused to possibly trade my liver for pretty nails. So, when podiatrist #2 suggested removing the nail and using topical Jublia when it started growing back in, I jumped on it, thinking topical is safer. Within two weeks of using Jublia, all my toes became affected and red and blistered. I thought I had athlete's foot, so I continued while using foot powders and sprays too! Two dermatologists later, I never had fungus; it was psoriasis! Jublia was a 'traumatic' event to my toenails and made the underlying psoriasis go nuts. Now, over a year and a half later, I have psoriatic arthritis in my feet and hands."

"I had five toenails affected with nail fungus. My podiatrist put me on Jublia 15 months ago. I have had 4 laser treatments and have faithfully used Jublia every morning for 15 months. I have kept my nails clean and short. At the beginning of my treatment, I was getting a bottle of Jublia delivered to my home at no cost for about 8 months. One bottle would last about 3 weeks. Then suddenly, I wasn't getting refills. After several phone calls, I was told I needed to pay $40 per bottle. I was okay with that, as I really wanted to continue the treatment for one year as recommended by my doctor. After I began paying for it, I noticed the bottle was actually full and lasted about 6 weeks. I have only seen a slight improvement. Didn't work!!"

"I've been using Jublia daily for 8 months now, and my toenail has just gotten progressively worse. When I first went to the podiatrist, my big toenail was still pink at the bottom and was just yellow at about the top third. My nail is now entirely yellow, and about a third has crumbled away at the top."

"I had nail fungus in four fingernails. Two were half lifted, half off the nail bed all the way up under the cuticles. Jublia worked great for me. I've been using it for 5 months, and they are all grown out with good nail and look great. I'm going to stop using it shortly. My insurance didn't cover it, and I used a coupon which got the 4 ml bottle down to $243. I was happy to pay because my fingernails looked awful."

"I have used Jublia for 6 years and still have toenail fungus, now on three nails instead of just one. I apply Jublia daily, change my socks every day, and sometimes twice when I change shoes, and spray the insides of my shoes with Tinactin twice a week. I have supplemented this regimen with monthly soaks with bleach. Frustrated!"
