For Acne "I love Beyaz. I was on Beyaz for 4 years and decided to try a new pill (Dumb). I switched to another birth control for a year and broke out terribly, battled depression, and had inexplicable mood swings. I switched back to Beyaz two months ago, and my acne has cleared COMPLETELY after a month and a half, my breasts grew a cup size, and I am not gaining weight. I am also a runner and was worried about the 'blood clot' scandals with this medicine, however, I have never had a problem. It is an incredible birth control pill for me, and I absolutely LOVE it. I am also a nurse. From my understanding, I want to note that many of the issues with blood clots are in HIGH RISK patients-those who smoke, who are over 40, etc. Take care of your body!"

For Birth Control "I was taking Yaz, but then for whatever reason the company added something to change it to Beyaz. Yaz was seriously a saint for me. Amazing periods, not hormonal at all, great skin, the works! I've been on Beyaz for over a month now, and I have not cried this much since I broke up with the love of my life over a year ago, and I have zero control of my emotions and how I feel."

For Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder "I have had horrible periods since my very first one, and they got worse as I aged. My cramps got so bad that muscle relaxants and painkillers didn't even take the edge off of the pain. My hormones were worse. Had maybe three days out of the month that I was fine. Not to mention, the amount I would bleed was horrible. I started with Yaz and was switched to Beyaz after my periods stopped coming. My periods didn't come back because the pill caused my body to stop producing a lining of my uterus, so now I take them continuously. I love this pill. For two years, I was great and had no PMDD symptoms whatsoever. I will never use any other pill."

For Birth Control "I have been on Beyaz for 5 months now. I was switched from a normal hormone birth control because it caused terrible breakouts (which I had never had in my life) as well as severe mood swings. At first, I really liked Beyaz. It cleared my skin back up to normal, and I didn't notice any changes. Now I am starting to get extremely agitated at the smallest things, crying for no reason, extreme headaches, and am getting cramps like I used to without birth control. I am considering getting off birth control altogether."

For Birth Control "I have been on Beyaz for 5 years, since the age of 23. The first few months were rough. I can remember being overly emotional. As an introvert, I could definitely notice the difference but then mellowed out. I had my period for 2-3 days after the first 6 months. After the first year, I noticed that my period would occasionally skip a month or two or would come out brown for 2-3 days after taking the last pill in the pack. My acne was less present, appearing only within the week of my period. Rarely, if ever, do I feel cramps; nothing like before the pill. For me, I had initial weight loss, but after my body got used to the drug, the weight returned. My migraines are now once a year instead of monthly. I've experienced no change in my sexual drive-still high. In the first year, I would always use a condom or Plan B just in case. After STD testing and a monogamous relationship, did I stop using extra protection. I can happily say that the birth control has worked thus far."

For Birth Control "Here to give an update! Last time I posted here was the beginning of November, so it's been just about 3 months. Please, if you're thinking about trying it, go for it. Safe to say I absolutely love Beyaz, the spotting problem I had went away after the first pack and is normal. I originally went on Beyaz for acne and bad periods. My acne has never been better than it is right now. The first month was hard, but by the end of the second pack, I started to see serious changes. I'm now onto my fourth pack, and I still get a few breakouts (small, maybe 2-3) when I'm on the sugar pills, but I'm hoping even those go away soon. I used to bleed through a tampon and onto my clothes within 2 hours, and now my period lasts 3-4 days, no cramps. No noticeable side effects, weight gain, headaches, or mood changes. This pill is truly the best thing that has happened to me! I feel confident in myself again. Thank you, Beyaz!"

For Acne "I was on Beyaz for about 3 years and decided to switch to Lo Loestrin Fe because it has the lowest hormone dosage out of all birth controls. Biggest mistake of my life! My skin was clear before LLF, but 3 months into taking it, I broke out along my jawline, neck, and back! To make things worse, I had the worst mood swings and felt like a crazy person 24/7. I thought these were just the side effects from switching pills and it would get better past the 3-month mark, but it didn’t. I’m back on Beyaz, and although it’s only been 2 weeks, my skin is getting better and I am back to my normal self - no more crazies! My gyno told me that Beyaz is already an extremely low hormone dose BC, so it really didn’t make a difference switching to something lower. Ladies, do not switch to anything else, Beyaz is the best!"

For Birth Control "I have been on Beyaz for several years (3+). When I first started using the pill, I experienced frequent nausea for almost a year. I gradually switched the time of dosage to the evening upon recommendation from my obgyn. The nausea did clear up. I virtually have no acne. Within the first few years, I did have lighter periods (3-5 day bleeding with minimal cramping). However, in my fourth year of being on this pill, I have been getting my period for only a day. Most times I skip a period entirely. This is due to the thin uterine lining. I did, however, develop severe mood swings and panic attacks, which I suffer from daily. I also have had some hair thinning and some weight gain. Loss of libido at first, but it did return after the 1st year."

For Birth Control "I feel wonderful taking Beyaz, but it's not perfect. It really helped with moderate acne, sometimes I would break out on my back and chest. Since taking it, I don't remember when I had a blemish. I have no mood swings, bloating, or weight gain-I'm actually at my lowest weight. The best thing is my sex drive is great. The only minus is my period still varies, sometimes it's heavy, sometimes it's light, and I'm still getting intensive cramps the first day. But honestly, I have no other issues, and I can deal with it."

For Birth Control "I was on Loestrin FE for 5 years, and I was also diagnosed with bipolar disorder while I was in high school. Loestrin worked for a little bit, but I gained 20 pounds quickly. I still had sexual desire mentally, but my body wouldn't react, and I was always too tired or too moody or too emotional. Since I've been on it for a while, the side effects seemed like they hit me a second time, and it was like my period was playing peek-a-boo with me. But 3 months ago, I switched to Beyaz, and I've never been happier and more... well... attacking my fiancé. I give Beyaz a 10 and highly recommend it! And I'm 20."

For Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder "I have been on this pill for 3 months going into 4 and have had my ups and downs with it. The 1st month, I experienced intense mood swings, I was crying and angry all the time and just wanted to be alone. The 2nd month, I was wondering why my acne wasn't going away, but my moods had improved. Although I was experiencing breakthrough bleeding for 15 days, I continued to take the pill. My period also brought cramps like no other. The 3rd month, I have been feeling sort of depressed, but I think that's due to life, not the pill. My breakthrough bleeding still occurred (some days light, some days none), and my skin has improved. I lost weight on Beyaz. I am looking forward to what month 4 brings and hoping all of the negative symptoms are gone."

For Birth Control "I have been on Beyaz birth control for about 5 years now, and I have never really had any serious problems with it! As a birth control, it seems to be working great, no babies here! I've never really had any acne, however, I used to get random pimples on my thighs, which was so strange to me, but when I started Beyaz, they quickly disappeared. My breasts have grown a substantial amount, but I do not have bad bloating or weight gain in other areas, which is awesome. The only downside I have noticed to this medication is that my mood swings were terrible the first couple of weeks. This is normal when you give your body any extra hormones, so I was not too worried about it. The mood swings stopped about 4 weeks in."

For Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder "I love Beyaz. No weight gain at all, and I've been on it for almost a year. Clear skin. No mood swings, although I feel emotional right before my period, but I've always been that way. The only negative thing is I used to be on the Bayer card and paid $25, but now it went up to $62."

For Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder "One of the better experiences with birth control I've had. Granted, I still experienced side effects like some mood swings in the beginning (nothing too severe) and nausea, possibly some related constipation. However, it kept my PMDD symptoms confined to shorter periods of time (a day or two every month or so, as opposed to 3-5 days every month). Breakthrough bleeding was a problem on it after a while, but that could be related to skipping placebos. Compared to other birth control pills I've been on which have sent me into manic/depressive cycles, this has been the best for my body. For comparison, I don't do well with any birth control pills containing northindrone."

For Acne "I'm 33 and started having acne and needed to go back on birth control. The great news is my skin cleared up completely within 3 months on Beyaz. The bad news is I've been taking the pill for a little over 6 months, and I'm still having my period twice a month (each lasting between 6-11 days). Definitely not ideal, but they're usually pretty light. I haven't noticed any weight gain (but I do work out intensively 5-6 days a week). Lately, I've been noticing a lot more mood swings, low self-esteem/poor body image, and I have a tremendous amount of guilt about everyday things and a bit of depression. I increased my anti-depressant, and that has seemed to help with the depression aspect, but not the other symptoms."

For Acne "I went on Beyaz to get rid of my acne, and in the first couple of weeks, I saw immediate results, which was wonderful! I haven't noticed any weight gain, but I was nauseous every day the first weeks. My sex drive is still pretty normal for me. I would say the only bad side effects that I have are that it's made me so emotional! Depressed and anything along those lines, and the nausea, but at least my face is clear."

For Acne "Beyaz was the second birth control I used. In terms of acne, it completely cleared my back, chest, and face acne. However, I have gained about 15 pounds and am very active and cannot lose weight. I also am irritable like no other. I have terrible mood swings. I loved that it cleared my acne, but the mood swings and weight gain have to go, so I am switching to Apri, but if that doesn't work, I would go back."

For Birth Control "I have been on Beyaz for a year and a half, and I've loved it! I had moderate acne before taking Beyaz, and now I only break out like once a month (it's usually only 2-3 pimples). My period went from a medium/heavy 7 days to light 3-4 days. I hardly have cramps or bloating. I love it. I sometimes get a little emotional, but I contribute that to being 18 years old. The only real negative side effect that I could say that I have about Beyaz is that it's somewhat costly, my insurance doesn't cover it. But since I've loved all that it's done for me, I choose to pay it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a new birth control."

For Birth Control "I went from Yaz to Beyaz. Worst decision ever. Yaz was amazing, but I was receiving it for free. They couldn't offer it for free anymore, so they put me on Beyaz. My period is longer, my cramps are bad, and I am emotional - which is crazy because I was never emotional when I was on Yaz or no birth control! The worst part is the acne. GIANT pimples everywhere. I am 27 and feel like I am 13! Ladies, keep in mind everyone will have their own experience, as it's how it reacts with your specific body."

For Birth Control "I am 19 years old and have been taking Beyaz for 3 months. This is my first time being on birth control. However, I am switching because of the mood swings. I feel like I have crippling depression. I am NOT like this at all - this isn't me. It has gotten worse each month. I cry at every little thing and have had increasing suicidal thoughts. It is absolutely miserable. Other than depression, other negative effects have been weight gain (nearly 10 lbs), low sex drive, and my acne has stayed prominent. The only positive aspects are I didn't get pregnant (a few times I missed my time to take the pill up to 7 hours), and my breasts are definitely bigger than normal."

For Birth Control "I started taking Beyaz in 2016 and was on it for four years. I never had any serious side effects, just headache, some slight stomach pain, and mood swings. I am now back on it after being off for a year, and I’ve had much worse mood swings. I’m hoping they will subside in the coming weeks and am willing to stick to it because I have PCOS and my periods suck. It does wonders for my acne, and I have very regular, easy periods on it. It’s nice knowing when I’m going to start, and I only bleed for about 3-4 days. I do notice I have a much lower sex drive when I’m on it, though. All in all, this birth control is good, and the good outweighs the bad."

For Birth Control "So I will say that Beyaz has served its course. I've been on it for a little over a year and can only offer 2 pros. Pros: it stopped my period, it prevented pregnancy. Cons: the mood swings are terrible, I am always irritated, every little thing bothers me, I am so rude to my husband. Not to mention, I cry at the drop of a dime. Before Beyaz, I could count on one hand the number of times I had cried in the last 5 years. Also, the weight gain. My doctor put me on Beyaz because it was supposed to help me lose weight. Instead, I have gained everywhere, and although I constantly work out, I can't lose the weight. I have never had acne, so I can't really speak on that, but I will say that I have had quite a few breakouts while being on Beyaz."

For Birth Control "I have been taking Beyaz for a year now to prevent pregnancy. Because I have been taking it consistently at a scheduled time, it has worked wonders! I would recommend this pill to anyone that is sexually active. Only side effects I have noticed are blood clots and emotional sensitivity. 10/10, highly recommend."

For Birth Control "I started Beyaz about 6 months ago. The first 3 months were great. No acne. No crying. No anger or crazy mood swings. The last 2 or 3 months have been bad, though. My face started breaking out, I am very emotional and angry. I don't know if it's because my pharmacy started giving me the generic version or it's the hormones, but everything was great until recently."
