For Birth Control "I have a history of depression/anxiety, which I'm currently treating with medication. I also have had symptoms of PMDD in the past. Beyaz is the ONLY birth control I have tried that completely takes away the PMDD, clears my face, hasn't made me gain weight, etc. I love it. When a generic for Beyaz came out (Rajani), I tried it for 3 months, and each month, two days before starting my period, I had terrible PMDD episodes with extreme depression/anxiety/cramping/migraines. I'm going back to Beyaz."

For Birth Control "I have been on Beyaz for 5 months now. I was switched from a normal hormone birth control because it caused terrible breakouts (which I had never had in my life) as well as severe mood swings. At first, I really liked Beyaz. It cleared my skin back up to normal, and I didn't notice any changes. Now I am starting to get extremely agitated at the smallest things, crying for no reason, extreme headaches, and am getting cramps like I used to without birth control. I am considering getting off birth control altogether."

"I've been on Beyaz for about a year now, and I love it! I had some acne before (not much really), but it's completely gone, I never break out now. I never have cramps, my breasts got bigger, and when I went on it, I was trying to lose weight and had no problems (lost 15 lbs immediately after and got bigger breasts). I would recommend Beyaz to anyone."

For Birth Control "I have been on Beyaz for 5 years, since the age of 23. The first few months were rough. I can remember being overly emotional. As an introvert, I could definitely notice the difference but then mellowed out. I had my period for 2-3 days after the first 6 months. After the first year, I noticed that my period would occasionally skip a month or two or would come out brown for 2-3 days after taking the last pill in the pack. My acne was less present, appearing only within the week of my period. Rarely, if ever, do I feel cramps; nothing like before the pill. For me, I had initial weight loss, but after my body got used to the drug, the weight returned. My migraines are now once a year instead of monthly. I've experienced no change in my sexual drive-still high. In the first year, I would always use a condom or Plan B just in case. After STD testing and a monogamous relationship, did I stop using extra protection. I can happily say that the birth control has worked thus far."

For Birth Control "I feel wonderful taking Beyaz, but it's not perfect. It really helped with moderate acne, sometimes I would break out on my back and chest. Since taking it, I don't remember when I had a blemish. I have no mood swings, bloating, or weight gain-I'm actually at my lowest weight. The best thing is my sex drive is great. The only minus is my period still varies, sometimes it's heavy, sometimes it's light, and I'm still getting intensive cramps the first day. But honestly, I have no other issues, and I can deal with it."

For Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder "I have been on this pill for 3 months going into 4 and have had my ups and downs with it. The 1st month, I experienced intense mood swings, I was crying and angry all the time and just wanted to be alone. The 2nd month, I was wondering why my acne wasn't going away, but my moods had improved. Although I was experiencing breakthrough bleeding for 15 days, I continued to take the pill. My period also brought cramps like no other. The 3rd month, I have been feeling sort of depressed, but I think that's due to life, not the pill. My breakthrough bleeding still occurred (some days light, some days none), and my skin has improved. I lost weight on Beyaz. I am looking forward to what month 4 brings and hoping all of the negative symptoms are gone."

For Birth Control "So far, I have been on Beyaz for 4 months and have not had any issues. Acne-wise: I have minimal acne, but I do get hormonal cystic acne, which is painful and bothersome. Since being on Beyaz for the past 4 months, I have not had any huge cystic breakouts before or after my period! So far, so good! Weight gain: Within the first month of taking Beyaz, I didn't have much of an appetite (no changes in diet) and lost maybe about 5-6 lbs in a month, but my body must have gotten used to the pill because I gained that all back within the next month (no changes in diet). Thankful I have not had any of the major side effects such as severe cramping or bloating, swelling of ankles, hair loss (my hair is already thin, so I can't really say if that had an effect or not). So far, so good."

"I had never taken birth control until last year. I started on Loestrin, and it was okay until the 3rd month when I started cramping almost every day. I started Beyaz after that and am into my third month of it. My periods have been longer and a lot more heavy. I get nauseated all the time now, no matter the time of day, and I'm not pregnant. I get hungry more frequently and have gained some weight. I also have a lot of headaches. I'm going to try something new again. Beyaz just isn't for me."

For Birth Control "It took 2-3 months for everything to regulate, but now that I've been on it for almost a year, I love it. My cramps aren't as bad, bleeding is much lighter than it used to be, hormones are 1,000 times more steady, and best of all: only 4 periods per year! The only drawback is that I get random menstrual-like cramps, but they're very light, don't even need to take ibuprofen; it's more of a small annoyance than anything. I haven't gained weight, but my face has broken out some over the past 1-2 months; it didn't for the longest time, so I'm not sure whether there's a correlation to the Beyaz or not. I take it at night because if I take any kind of birth control in the morning, I feel extremely dizzy/nauseous all day. Overall, an awesome choice!"

For Birth Control "I went from Yaz to Beyaz. Worst decision ever. Yaz was amazing, but I was receiving it for free. They couldn't offer it for free anymore, so they put me on Beyaz. My period is longer, my cramps are bad, and I am emotional - which is crazy because I was never emotional when I was on Yaz or no birth control! The worst part is the acne. GIANT pimples everywhere. I am 27 and feel like I am 13! Ladies, keep in mind everyone will have their own experience, as it's how it reacts with your specific body."

For Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder "This is the 2nd month that I have been on this pill. My doctor put me on it because I have such horrendous cramps every month, and he thought this would help. It has not. Since I've been on this pill, I have had my period every two weeks for the same amount of time I normally have it (3-4 days), along with the awful, awful cramps. I see such good reviews about this and wonder why my body isn't reacting well to it. Wondering if anyone else has had the same experience and wondering if it will work itself out. I can't see the doc until August 7th."

For Birth Control "Beyaz was my first birth control pill. I bled throughout the first month, and I got cramps, which really scared me because I usually have short periods and almost never get cramps. After the first month, the bleeding stopped, my face cleared up, and my sex drive increased. Sadly, after 6-7 months of being on Beyaz, I noticed my vaginal lubrication wasn't the same, even when my sex drive was high. For me, that was a huge upside down, and I decided to switch to another pill, but I would definitely recommend it since that was the only side effect I experienced."

For Birth Control "I've been on Beyaz since September 2013 after switching from the Depo shot. I love the pill, however, I get really bad cramps when my period comes. Not sure if it's because my body is still adjusting to being off the shot or what."

For Birth Control "I used to be on Yaz until the price got so high. I switched to a different one for a few months, had awful side effects, so my year check-up came and my doctor recommended Beyaz. I have been on it for almost a year. And my sex drive is almost completely gone, and I'm more moody on the pill than off. It's crazy. But I don't have any headaches anymore. Had no weight gain and no cramping or back aches on my period."

For Birth Control "I've been taking Beyaz for about 5 years now. I started when I was 14 because of severe cramps. It worked great for a while, but in the last few months, I have experienced spotting and longer periods with more severe cramps. I am going to speak to a doctor about trying another pill."

For Birth Control "When I first started taking Beyaz, it was great. I had no problems, but towards the end of the cycle, I had a terrible attitude, was very emotional, nauseous, and had too many headaches. Once my period was gone, it came back a day after, and it was light to medium. Very bad cramps. My appetite increased a lot more when I started. But everyone's body is different and would react differently to the pills."

For Birth Control "Beyaz didn't work for me. My GYN put me on this pill because I wasn't ovulating. This pill turned out to be my worst nightmare. The first week, I became very emotional and had light menstrual bleeding and cramps. The second week, my bleeding became heavier and cramps turned into pressure in my lower abdominal area. The pressure made me so uncomfortable. No medicine helped. I called my GYN office and spoke with her nurse. She suggested doubling up on the meds I was currently taking. That helped some, but not much. The third week, the bleeding became extreme with large blood clots. Having to wear 2 huge pads at a time was awful. And the pressure turned back into pain. I called my GYN back, and they advised me to stop the pill immediately."

For Birth Control "I started Beyaz a year ago, and wow, it's been a trip! First 3 months, I bled non-stop. I started the pill at the beginning of my period, so naturally, I went the first few days with my period. But after my usual 3-4 day cycle, I wouldn't stop bleeding. It wasn't period bleeding, but there was definitely spotting to the point where I had to wear a liner or pad. For 3 consecutive months, I spotted non-stop. When I went back to the doctor for my next packets, she said I just needed to adjust. As soon as I started my 4th month, things were normal. I stopped spotting, I bled only during my period, and things were fine. I also broke out only on my chin during the first 2 months. Eventually, it cleared up and everything was good. I haven't had a pregnancy scare, my boyfriend and I never use condoms, so I think it's been really effective. The only thing I will say is that I used to rarely get cramps before, and now I get some, usually on my first day, and now my periods are about 4-5 days instead of 3-4."

For Birth Control "BEYAZ is my worst enemy! I took this BC pill for 1 1/2 months. Completed week 1, and the mood swings started. Week 3, I started bleeding light with minor cramps. Week 4, my light bleeding turned into heavy bleeding, changing my pad every hour or less. The cramps were no longer minor, they were just unbearable that I had to take Norco and Ibuprofen at the same time just to take the edge off. I spoke to my GYN about the symptoms, and I was advised to give it another try even after I was in the ER injected with Dilaudid. Started the 2nd pack as the bleeding and cramping still continue. Put on Vicodin and Naproxen for pain. I became depressed, angry, isolated, emotionally unattached, and extremely tired. I quit taking it midway, and now I'm in recovery."

For Birth Control "This was the worst medication I've ever taken. It gave me terrible nausea, cramps, and stomach pain. I was somehow allergic to the placebo reminder pills - it gave me hives and trouble breathing. It also caused bladder spasms. You couldn't pay me to take this again."

For Birth Control "For 4 years I was on Yaz. I stopped when I got pregnant and waited over a year to get back on the pill. I couldn't handle even general PMS: bloating, cramping, achy body, emotional roller coaster, breakouts, not to mention feeling tired and irritable. So I went to my OB-GYN to get back on Yaz, but she prescribed Beyaz instead."
