Crisaborole topical for Atopic Dermatitis "Honestly, I was so nervous to apply the ointment after reading these reviews that noted extreme burning and stinging. Actually scared me enough to wait a few days after receiving the RX, but said let’s give it a go. After my first week of using this product, I’m so happy I did. I am prescribed Eucrisa for perioral dermatitis and rosacea around my nose and chin/mouth area. Don’t get me wrong, there was a slight sting but nothing close to unbearable. I can’t comment for those who have to apply this to your eyelids - I imagine that area is much more sensitive. I put a small piece of plastic wrap on my finger to avoid it from touching the skin on my finger if that helps anyone. After a week, I see vast improvements in the redness, and the stinging is totally gone at this point as well, so it’s a positive review for me. Also, this was $10 through a delivery pharmacy that my dermatologist recommended. Without that recommendation, it was in the ballpark of $700 with my insurance."

Crisaborole topical for Atopic Dermatitis "So I went to the dermatologist today, and they gave me Eucrisa, and boy, I tell you, that burning sensation is no joke AT ALL! I always look up my meds beforehand, but I don’t know why I didn’t this time, lol. But, yeah, it only stings the affected area, but hopefully I see some results. I put ice on my face, fanning it, YOU NAME IT. But I’ll come back in 2 weeks to see the results."

For Atopic Dermatitis "Have started this cream in hopes of getting relief from the burning and itch of eczema. I am && years old and developed this condition around 65. Started one winter with a small patch on my leg, every year it has grown to spread over more than half of my body surface, nothing seems to help. I have been told to use it twice a day on affected areas, but that would be over half of my body. Just using it on the worst areas, it seems to help, stings when I first apply it. I have hopes that this would be the answer, but in Canada it cost me $188 and cannot afford to buy it twice a month."

For Atopic Dermatitis "I was going through all the comments my doc gave me to use Staqis (crisaborole 2% ointment). I had suddenly got this eczema in 2017 that is not leaving me. No matter how much cream you apply, it never gets better. I am using this one on top of Sigmacort, she said it's gonna help. I have used Advantan, that helped me a lot, but this thing keeps coming back again and again with the burning or stinging. I never felt anything. It does look like it's working on the red patches. I hope there is a remedy to eliminate this disease permanently. I know how hard it is emotionally. People who are suffering like me, same red small patches on eyebrows, cheeks, and nose try Sigmacort along with Staqis. My dermatologist said this is safe to use, it won't thin the skin. Using two times a day on the affected area. Everyone's experience is different. I just shared my little part of the story. All the best."

Crisaborole topical for Atopic Dermatitis "Get ready for the burn! My doctor told me if the sting was too intense to wash it off, and we would try something else, which is exactly what I did the first time. I’ve battled with atopic dermatitis on my eyelids forever. They become dry, flaky, hot, and itchy. Nothing has helped. I’m here to say give it another try, though. This is a miracle drug. Through the 5-10 minute burn session, your affected area never turns red or becomes puffy. The area actually clears up in minutes! I could not recommend this enough."

For Atopic Dermatitis "Prescribed for eczema for the skin under my eyes. The cream stings very badly the first time; I was almost in shock and crying with the pain. Once the burning sensation went away (20 minutes later), my skin was calm and the itchiness went away. I used the cream for 5 days, and the eczema was gone. The doctor recommended it for 3 months, but I did not continue as my skin was healed. After a month, I started feeling the itchiness coming back, so I will restart the treatment. Happy with the results, but it hurts (stings) so badly when the cream is applied. I usually have to sit and take a moment to recover from the pain."

Crisaborole topical for Atopic Dermatitis "I suffer from severe full-body eczema my whole life, and I am a 34-year-old woman. Normally, my face is always the only thing clear, but for the past month, now I am getting bumpy red patches around my mouth and forehead. I'm so depressed. I went to the dermatologist today, and he gave me a shot of Kenalog and a box of Eucrisa samples. I came home, cooked dinner, washed my face with Cetaphil, and tried the Eucrisa. It stings for about 8 minutes, hopefully, it works. I will give an update if it helps or not."

Crisaborole topical for Atopic Dermatitis "My skin started drying up really bad due to the cold weather. My dermatologist gave me a sample of Eucrisa. Before even trying it, I put in my prescription and was told it was not covered and was over $400. The pharmacist advised me to try the sample I was provided because a lot of customers were complaining about it. I tried it for the first time today on my face, and it burned and stung. It is very painful. I will go back to my usual prescribed ointment."
