Crisaborole topical for Atopic Dermatitis "I began using Eucrisa for atopic dermatitis on one eyebrow, both eyelids, and one ear a month ago. I have used Protopic and Elidel, neither helped. When it’s highly inflamed, it does burn, but it’s tolerable for me. It is only a temporary fix though, the red inflamed skin, insane itching, skin tender and thickened, it never goes away."

Crisaborole topical for Atopic Dermatitis "I started using this 3 days ago for what I have been told is eczema on my face. The first time I used it, my face got itchy beyond belief. I was actually looking forward to a sensation other than being itchy all the time. The sensation of burning and stinging sounded good for a change. I guess it's too soon to really rate it, but so far, my skin is smooth, but it still itches."

Crisaborole topical for Atopic Dermatitis "I’ve had tried many different types of medications, this is by far the worst. When applied to my face or upper chest, I turn into a caged animal, it burns so bad I just want to rip my skin off. I usually prefer the burning sensation to the constant itching, but not with Eucrisa, it’s so intense I just want to dig at it more. I have had no luck on other areas either-arms, legs, or stomach-just doesn’t do the job. I can’t believe all the people who suffer from this that this is the best they can come up with, oh well, suffer on, back to square one."

Crisaborole topical for Atopic Dermatitis "I have had eczema for years. Steroid pills and injections are the only things that seem to work now. The steroid creams don't even work, and the injections don't work as well as they used to. Eucrisa doesn't burn me at all. If anything, it increases the itch. I don't think it works on me at all. I wish it would."

Crisaborole topical for Atopic Dermatitis "Eucrisa was not effective and actually made the eczema on my feet spread. The itching became more intense. $680.00 a tube from an in-house privately managed pharmacy says everything we need to say about this drug. It is a total case of price gouging. I'm back on triamcinolone, and at least it's tried and true."

Crisaborole topical for Atopic Dermatitis "This cream is amazing! I have battled atopic dermatitis for nearly 2 years without much relief. I used steroids, which would clear it up, then a few weeks after stopping, it was back. My hands were so cracked and bleeding, it was unbearable. Once I tried this, my life has been changed. I have never experienced the burning. My hands do itch a little, but no signs of the cracking and bleeding. I am so thankful."

Crisaborole topical for Atopic Dermatitis "I used this medicine for my 2-year-old son who was suffering from moderate to severe eczema that extended to cover his entire body. This poor boy was itching constantly for months. We tried many medications, including steroids and wet wrap with lots of eczema cream every night for many months. We were excited to try Eucrisa when a dermatologist prescribed it to us. Despite following his instructions on how to apply Eucrisa, it did not improve his eczema at all after 1.5 months of use, and I stopped at that point. It really did not help with itching at all. We were very disappointed. What ended up working for us is OTC all-purpose balm from the Honest Company. It drastically changed the state of his skin after a few days, and now his skin is softer than it has ever been since his birth."

Crisaborole topical for Atopic Dermatitis "My skin, especially my face, flared up horribly in the summer, and my local dermatologist recommended Eucrisa for my face only. I was initially very pleased as the red turned to pink, and my skin stopped flaking, but within a month, it just flat out stopped working, and the red came back in nasty patches. Plus, the ointment actually encouraged itching and scratching. I have since started using this First Aid Beauty Ultimate Moisture Cream I bought off of QVC, and it's actually doing a better job... still some dryness, but pink instead of red and fewer patches I'll take any day. And yes, when I put Eucrisa on, all that goes through my head is Linda Blair screaming, 'It burns. It burns' from 'The Exorcist.'"

Crisaborole topical for Atopic Dermatitis "I've had eczema my whole life. It is usually manageable, but over the summer, I suffered a really bad flare-up that hasn't gone away. I was prescribed steroids for around my eyes and mouth that worked wonderfully. Unfortunately, my eczema came back when I stopped using it. I was prescribed Eucrisa, and it burned like absolute lava. I powered through, and it seemed to be working okay on my body eczema. After about 10 days, I woke up with the worst eczema ever around my eyes and mouth, covering half of my face. It's been a week since I stopped using Eucrisa, and my eczema is still worse than ever on my face. For a couple of days, my face felt raw with a burning and itch I've never experienced before. I haven't changed anything. I use all hypoallergenic everything: shampoo, soap, detergent. I'm just so frustrated, and I don't think this product helped my face. It did seem to help my eczema on my arms."

For Atopic Dermatitis "I am 75 years of age. Only used Eucrisa for two weeks. Eucrisa caused my asthma to act up, I have hives, and I sweat profusely when I go to bed at night. It does not burn when I use it. However, some of the spots itch when I apply it to the area."

Crisaborole topical for Atopic Dermatitis "Eczema suddenly spread to cover my back with small, sore, itchy blotches all over. Got a script for Eucrisa, and after a couple of treatments, it cleared up the problem for the most part. Now just a touch-up in one or two spots periodically is all it takes. I recently spread it on my arm with a problem of what I think is called purpura, blood just under the skin (pooling). Much to my surprise, Eucrisa seems to have cleared up this problem with amazing results for me. The blood seems to have retreated to a lower layer, and the surface skin seems much stronger and thicker. I have to get a refill and check it out more thoroughly. But if it works, I will be overjoyed. It would be a relief not to worry about tearing the skin above one of these blood pools that bleed like crazy."

Crisaborole topical for Atopic Dermatitis "Eucrisa actually seemed to make my nummular eczema patches worse, in fact, they grew larger than I have ever experienced and even increased itchiness. I was hoping to stop using steroids like clobetasol, but this was not the answer for me."

Crisaborole topical for Atopic Dermatitis "This medication is worthless. I had severe eczema on my neck and inner arm. I applied generously, and within seconds, burning got worse and worse. Was almost in tears. Had to take off immediately. I would never use this again or put it on a child or baby. Painful burning and itching. I’d rate this product a -10 if I could. So far, it’s going in the garbage. I hope no one uses it."

Crisaborole topical for Atopic Dermatitis "My 8-year-old daughter has had severe atopic dermatitis and eczema, exacerbated by allergies, almost her whole life. It's so severe that her skin is consistently like raw meat, cracked open, and bleeds. This medicine says not to use on irritated skin. Is that a joke? Because the condition it claims to treat is, in fact, what it says to not use it on. Adding further insult is the excruciating pain that comes along with the treatment. My daughter says she'd rather deal with the bullying, torment, unsightlyness, itching, irritation, pain, and bleeding than use this medicine. How sad they develop a medicine that causes more pain than it's worth for children. I thought perhaps my daughter's struggles would be cured. Back to the drawing board, folks."
