"This was my first time taking any vaginal cream or suppository, and I wish I didn’t. I should have used what I was used to. I get BV very often, and when the symptoms started, I called the teledoc number my insurance covers. The doctor prescribed me the Clindamycin, and I’ve been having horrible side effects ever since. It has been over a week now, and I have burning sensations and irritation. I may have a yeast infection now. Will definitely go to urgent care."

Clindamycin topical "I would highly recommend Clindesse for BV! At first, I was not going to take this medication, but after a while, it was that I didn’t want it to get any worse than it was, so I took a chance! It’s worth it! It’s day three, and at first, the only side effects so far have been on day one: a slight headache that went away, and really constipation. The reviews had me not wanting to take this, but I haven’t had any yeast infection or diarrhea like a lot of other people. Medications do work differently according to the person, so it’s good to try for yourself, and if it does not work out, then try something else. This by far has been the best one on the market!"

"I've had two rounds of treatment of clindamycin applications to treat my recurring BV. My first round felt like it didn't completely cure all the symptoms during my 10-day course, but most symptoms subsided. Three to four weeks later, my BV came back with a vengeance. My second round of treatment was for 7 days with an additional prescription of Diflucan to treat yeast. Normally, I'll start feeling better within 2 days of the course of treatment, but I never felt any of my symptoms got away except the itching, which I think the Diflucan resolved. I experienced mild burning, cramping, fatigue, and diarrhea the entire time taking clindamycin. Spoke with my GYN by day 3, and she said to continue treatment and I should get better. Then, I spoke with her on my last day and told her my symptoms felt worse, even having an odor I didn't have initially, as well as burning and discharge. Now she's prescribed me a steroid ointment to mask the symptoms but not treat the BV."

Clindamycin topical "My doctor prescribed Clindesse, and a few days after I used it, I started having vaginal discomfort of burning and itching when I used the bathroom. I have called my doctor's office, and they haven't gotten back to me on what else to use."

"I am now on day 6 of clindamycin for BV, and I haven't noticed a difference. I still have a smell, but not like fish, just a smell you can still smell. At this point, I have tried metro gel and pills, but nothing. I will be going back to my doctor soon. I haven't experienced any itching or burning, just a smell that won't go away."

"My doctor gave me this cream after having bacterial vaginitis symptoms with a urinary infection. I have never itched so badly in my life. My BV symptoms stopped, but now I have this terrible burn and itchy sensation, which I have no clue how to tackle with :("

"I was told to take it for 3 days rather than the standard 7 as I am pregnant. Didn’t help, so I took the last 4 days, and I thought for the most part it worked, except for the itching that came back a day later. I took another culture test, and my doctor said it might be yeast. Just wait for results. Guess what I didn’t have? Yeast. I still have BV!"

Clindamycin topical "I’ve never suffered with BV, but after having an IUD and an unfaithful partner, I developed a severe case of BV. After 2 rounds of Clindesse and a dose of Tinidazole, I am much better! I got rid of them both! It didn’t give me a yeast infection, but I loaded up on probiotics instead of my normal Diflucan."

"Been with the same partner for 5 years. Then one day his semen smelled of fish and very metallic and actually caused a rash on my chest and legs. I was convinced he had Trichomoniasis. After ruling out any STD, I was prescribed Clindamycin Phosphate Vaginal Cream 2% (I am allergic to Metronidazole) for seven days to be inserted at the same time every night (which I found difficult to do because of my work schedule, so I just made sure to get it in before the stroke of midnight) for BV. Apparently, with semen being alkaline, it lowered the pH balance of my vagina. It didn’t matter how much yogurt or probiotics I took in. After the first treatment, I could smell the difference the next morning. I have one more treatment to go and have only experienced diarrhea once and mild itching of my arms and face, but no rash anywhere on my body. Maybe due to my insurance prescription plan, the medication only cost $9.00. It also came with 7 applicators."

"A lot of the Western medicine out there is a joke, and it’s nothing but a money-hungry business to keep you coming back for more. A tube of this costs $91, and sure, it takes the burn and smell away, but once you’re done, it’s back. I’ve been dealing with BV now for 3 months, and I’m done with the deceiving promises and have headed the homeopathic route. Do something good for your body, don’t give it garbage."

"I'm on night 2 of 7. It has worked great so far, and I even noticed significant improvement by this morning. It's a little messy, but definitely worth it! Highly recommend this product."

"I enjoy using the clindamycin cream because it works best for my BV. The Flagyl pills are too strong, and I would definitely recommend this because it works great."

"I was terrified after reading reviews of clindamycin vaginal for BV. I'm on the 7-day treatment. I'm on the second dose and no burning, no itching, etc. A little uncomfortable the first 10 minutes after insertion, but that's it. I recommend this over more systematic antibiotics that can have some horrible side effects."
