Ciprofloxacin / dexamethasone otic "40-year-old adult who never had any ear problems. In fact, I have overly exceptional hearing. 1 week ago, my left ear felt full, and I let it go for 3 days. I happened to be seeing a PC doctor about something else and mentioned it. They told me I have an inner ear infection, so they will put me on Ciprodex for 7 days. However, he doesn't believe my insurance in MA will pay for it. I went to pick it up, and it cost $8. I put it in that night. My ear was very clogged, I had a hard time hearing people. 6 days later, my ear is still clogged, but it happens to clear up on its own every 3 hours, then goes back to being full. Overall, no side effects. No pain. Just need to have a tolerance for having an ear that feels full in the normal business world."

Ciprofloxacin / dexamethasone otic "My two-year-old had a severe ear infection and did not respond to this antibiotic at all, so after five straight days of 104-degree temperature and vomiting, the doctor gave a shot of Rocephin, which broke the fever immediately and started the healing of the ears, and then finished with a round of Augmentin. We did, however, get the severe diaper rash that the letter said could accompany this medication."

"So sorry for those having such pain with these meds. I have severe sinusitis and my inner ear is completely plugged, hearing is almost negative. Started the drops June 30th, still on them, have had no ear pain with drops, however, the ear is still not open, better though. Also been using nose spray and Tylenol. About ready to find an ENT! Again, I have had no side effects from the drops."

Ciprofloxacin / dexamethasone otic "I don't know why people have such bad experiences with this, but as a student, I will say it's so, so good. I was so scared with my terrible ear infection, and now it is so much better just in 4 days. I would recommend this to those who have a bad ear infection, but it must be prescribed by your doctor."

"Omg! This stuff is miraculous. The first few drops stung a little but was bearable. The ER doctor prescribed this 4 drops 2x a day for 7 days. As soon as I put the first 4 drops in, I felt instant relief. I see that I must have gotten a bargain as far as the price. I don't have insurance and paid $86.00. Just make sure to finish it all. I will very enthusiastically give this miracle drug a 10 out of 10. I loved this stuff."

Ciprofloxacin / dexamethasone otic "I am on the 2nd day of these ear drops. Lots of pain in the right ear, I think because there is a hole in that eardrum. Also using in the left ear for crystallized wax buildup, and that ear has a tube. Is there not something else? Plus, I'm taking ciprofloxacin by mouth."

Ciprofloxacin / dexamethasone otic "On day four, I stopped sleeping, started having night sweats, bugs crawling on my skin, slurred speech, very high HR. Unfortunately, I couldn't believe that it was ear drops, and so I continued taking them for another 8 years, by which time I totally deteriorated. Since stopping it a month ago, I still have insomnia, high HR, terrible tinnitus, painful muscles, fatigue, panic attacks, etc. I have since found out I was 'floxed' and that the damage to my CNS might even be permanent. Please look for alternatives and NEVER allow this near your child!!"

"AVOID THIS DRUG! I walk-in clinic prescribed it to me, here I am at 2 am in massive pain. I can't get a second of relief to fall asleep. Now I'm reading that the pain will continue for 4 to 5 days. Well, isn't that just a miracle? At least before the drops, I could sleep, now I'm literally sleep-deprived and in enormous pain. I'm going to continue with the drops, but oh help me, Lord, if I die because of being sleep-deprived and getting in an accident, I just want it on record that it's this stupid drug's fault. Don't be a fool, if your doctor recommends this garbage, implore them to try it first. They must be getting a great kickback from this company to prescribe this garbage. So, yeah, I am not pleased at all, not even slightly."
