Buprenorphine / naloxone for Opioid Use Disorder "I was reading some of the reviews on how well Suboxone works on opiate withdrawal. The one person had only been on it for three days, 8 mg a day. I as well went that route over 6 years ago. While Suboxone is a lifesaver while trying to kick narcotics. The Suboxone also comes with a price! If you are only on it for a short time, meaning a month or so, you should do well. What always brought me back to the narcotics, after the Sub's, was the depression. I would become so depressed, I had considered suicide. If it comes down to staying on Suboxone or pills, even heroin, stay on the Suboxone! They even have a better drug out there now. It's called Butrans, it comes in patch form only, it comes in 5 mg, 10 mg, and 25 mg patches."

Buprenorphine / naloxone for Opioid Use Disorder "I tried to detox myself from a 10-bag-a-day heroin habit and 80 mg of oxy. I would always make it 3 days until the withdrawal got so bad I had to use to not feel sick. I thought it would be impossible to quit. After being on Suboxone for 3 days, I have had no withdrawal symptoms and the severe depression I would get from not taking opiates was gone. I have my life back thanks to this drug and my doctor. Best choice I ever made. Suboxone + NA = Better quality of life."

Buprenorphine / naloxone for Opioid Use Disorder "Horrible, was on 8 mg Suboxone a day for a week, and my doctor just switched randomly. After I told him I did not want Bunavail, he gave me 3 weeks' worth, and it sucks. The depression I get in the middle of the day, I still feel shitty and still want to use! I actually went and relapsed after taking 2 4.2 mg tabs and almost felt the full feeling from the relapse. I was falling out a little bit and everything! That never would have worked if I was even on 8 mg of Suboxone. Can't wait to get back to the doctor and make him switch me back. The depression I get from even the slightest withdrawal off Bunavail is awful. Tell your doctor you don't want Bunavail! I believe the true reason they made this stuff is because people cannot inject it like they can Suboxone."

For Opioid Use Disorder "I can say this saved my life. I wasn't a hardcore user, but I was taking 60 mgs of codeine 3 times a day after my stroke and started to get addicted when my doctor asked if I wanted to try this. And man, it's a lifesaver. It took away my pain and helped with my bowels too because that was the main reason for codeine. I know they say it doesn't help with pain, but I can attest that this pill does help a lot with pain and depression too. I've tried the generic version, and it was the same as the brand name. The brand name made the generic version here in Canada (PM's is the generic version). I get the brand name Indivior tablets because my benefits cover it. Anyone trying to better themselves should give this drug a try and not just for 2 or 3 days, try it for a couple of weeks, and you will see the changes in your life. I now can see all the people that care for me when I couldn't when I was taking so many other prescription drugs. They suppress my feelings, and this drug lifts me up in a good way."

For Opioid Use Disorder "Hikma Labs Inc. brand buprenorphine is crap! I've been on buprenorphine for 7 years and had my doctor switch me from films to pills. My pharmacy only had the Hikma Labs brand. Since starting this particular brand, I've been in withdrawal. Not sleeping through the night, lack of motivation, and muscle soreness. I don't know why this is the only brand I've had this issue with. Are they putting the correct amount of medicine when manufacturing, or are you just ripping off your customers? I know there is some medicine in them because I'm not in complete withdrawal, but something isn't right and needs to be looked into."

Buprenorphine / naloxone for Opioid Use Disorder "I have been on Suboxone for several years. I thought it was the best option that I could find. The choices/options were zero. For an epidemic, there aren't any solutions or hopes for any. We all are happy for Suboxone, mainly because it was the only other game in town for us without finances for high-end drug withdrawal resorts. But we should not just compare Suboxone to opioids. I am past that, and now I must compare Suboxone to NO DRUGS AT ALL. No more sweats, chills, confusion. No more mood swings, depression, dizzy spells, cramps, and a loss of who I am. Because, compared to no symptoms, Suboxone is still a barrier keeping me away from who I am, or can be. I won't know what that is for 6 months if I start my taper now. I want to know who I am, without symptoms, without Suboxone. I don't imagine it is going to be perfect, but it will be the genuine ME. God will lead me there....."

Buprenorphine / naloxone for Opioid Use Disorder "Ok, my wife has been on this Zubsolv for over a week now. At first, it seemed to help her. Yesterday, she woke up with a rash on her lower arms. She has gotten really depressed, her anxiety has gone through the roof, she snaps back at the slightest things. It is not helping with her cravings, it seems the longer she takes it, the further my wife becomes a different person from when she was doing pain pills. I'm starting to think it was better she stayed on the pain pills. Has anyone else heard of anything like this before? I'm at a loss for words, and I don't know what I need to do or what to do at this point other than start cutting her dosages down and wean her off this garbage......"

Buprenorphine / naloxone for Opioid Use Disorder "This drug has saved my life, literally. I have a long, sad history of drug abuse. I was on a minimum of 1600 mg of oxycodone a day for over three years. I had to do ridiculous things to support my habit. I have been to countless rehabs, but to no avail. Although the physical withdrawal part is hard, it is nothing compared to the depression that follows. I was hospitalized numerous times following detox for having serious suicidal thoughts. This is the only thing that worked for me. Now I am clean for over a year and am down to around 5-6 mg of Suboxone a day."

Buprenorphine / naloxone for Opioid Use Disorder "Awful! This med is so bad. Doesn't stick to cheek or absorb the BUP. It had me doubting myself. And... ahhhhhhh... Why are they pushing this BS? Worst 2 weeks I have had in treatment. Sick, withdrawing, but go back to Dr. Tuesday to change back to Suboxone, almost relapsed. Hating the insurance now for only covering this stuff?"

Buprenorphine / naloxone for Opioid Use Disorder "I was on 3 to 4 bags a day for three years. Always felt depressed. Now I have been on Subutex for 3 years, feel no desire to get high. Am scared of how I will feel coming off of it. I am going to start to cut it back. I am on 4 mg twice a day most of the time. I take 2 mg twice a day. Want to stop so I can feel like myself again."

Buprenorphine / naloxone for Opioid Use Disorder "If addicted to pills, why would anyone even bother with Suboxone? Pills are so easy to taper down from! I say this because when I was on pills (Percs, Oxy, Roxi, Norcos, etc.), I thought coming down sucked but wasn't impossible... That's why I even tried heroin to begin with, because I thought I would be stronger than the drug and the withdrawal would just be like the pills. WRONG! Heroin withdrawals are a million times worse! So if you are on pills, just taper and get off, don't bother with Suboxone. However, if you're trying to get off heroin or fentanyl, then Suboxone is a lifesaver. Suboxone withdrawals are way milder compared to heroin's. It's just more drawn out. Whereas heroin's withdrawals are downright impossible, Suboxone's aren't nearly as bad. The hardest part is (with both Suboxone and heroin) the long-term effects, the depression and lack of motivation overall. So do yourself a favor, if you're on pills, just taper and get off. Don't get stuck on Suboxone and absolutely do NOT try heroin to replace pills. DON'T DO IT."

For Opioid Use Disorder "I’ve been on this drug for 8 LONG years and have desperately wanted to quit for more than half that time. A while back, I got so tired of having no energy, feeling numb and stupid (it literally turns you into a walking zombie, only artificial happiness and emotions), constipation, poor vision and reflexes, no motivation that I quit off 16 mg cold turkey. I found a video on YouTube about mega dosing vitamin C, and it helped a lot, but I sabotaged myself. If you get on this stuff, do it for a week. PLEASE don’t get hooked on it. I am a believer, and I can physically feel a wall between God and me in my mind. I barely know who I am anymore, but I know with God’s help I WILL get FREE!!!"
