For Helicobacter Pylori Infection "Omeprazole 40 mg twice a day for 10 days for H. pylori, along with Pylera. Okay for the first 5 days, then lightheadedness, and just got worse from there on, with brain fog and anxiety. Changed to pantoprazole 40 mg twice a day at day 8 of Pylera. It is now the 5th day since I stopped the pantoprazole and Pylera. I have had extreme exacerbation of my anxiety, triggered by little things like the telephone ringing or a text message pinging, my heart beating very hard. No appetite. I get up from the chair and walk around and have to sit down to rest until my heart stops pounding, then can’t get up to answer the phone because my heart is pounding again and tingling arms and legs. I was sure it was all the meds I took, as I have no anxious feelings, just panicky symptoms. Doctor said I need Lexapro. This is not the same as my anxiety in the past, and I am already feeling better, so I think all the meds are wearing off at last. I’m an RN. I thought all the negative reviews were fake until now."

For Helicobacter Pylori Infection "First few days went well. Indigestion and stomach pains are terrible. I generally feel sickly all over. My stomach is bloated, and I don't have an appetite. Palpitations, bubbly feeling in stomach. I just can't go on. I also have IBS. I've been dealing with H. pylori since 2002. It progressively got worse. The stomach pains are the worst. I could go days without eating. This medicine is NOT for me. The objective is to feel better, but that's not what's happening. My doctor gave me samples. I'm so glad, 'cause it would be a waste of money. Good luck, everyone."

For Helicobacter Pylori Infection "I am glad I found this site, it gave me the will to keep going through Pylera. After reading others' experiences, I am on day 9, one more day to go. I was about to quit on the 5th day, then I found other people's reviews who experienced the same side effects. My side effects were terrible starting day 2 till the 7th day. I had nausea, vomiting, dizziness, loss of appetite, and headache, plus stomach acid before bowel movements. On day 9, still loss of appetite and nausea, but less from all other side effects. I used Nexium twice a day plus Pylera. Will update after a few weeks with the end result. But without a doubt, a very hard drug and a bad experience going through the 120 pills of Pylera."

For Helicobacter Pylori Infection "The worst experience. I cried the whole time I was taking the medication. I threw up numerous times, no appetite, headaches, and awful stomach aches. I’m so happy I’m done with it."

For Helicobacter Pylori Infection "I am in my 9th day of treatment out of 10. Since day 2, I have felt nauseous all the time, I also lost my appetite by day 6, dizziness, and anxiety. I am glad this ends tomorrow!"

For Helicobacter Pylori Infection "I am starting day 5 of a 14-day treatment. I have experienced so many awful side effects that I started keeping a journal. I have extreme fatigue, my arms feel heavy, I can't really grip things (dropped my toothbrush in the sink 3 times last night), cold sweats, complete loss of appetite, dizziness, nausea, a slight ringing in my ears, feeling like there's a buzzing sensation in my scalp, minor headaches, cramps, dark stool, and finally this morning I threw up an hour after taking my first 3 pills. On top of all these horrible side effects, I am really struggling to fit in the 4 doses and the two doses of omeprazole. I am also prescribed pain medication 3 times a day for a separate issue, and the last two days I have only taken 3 total pills.... I can't figure out timing to safely take everything. Two nights ago I simply skipped the 4th dose because I could not fit it in. I am praying that Pylera works, because right now in the middle of it I am questioning, is this worth it!?"
