"BC Powder, Goodies, and Stanback are all made by the same company, and until a year ago, they were made in Memphis, TN. A new company bought the brands some years back and only recently changed manufacturers from the original makers to a cheaper one. This packaging change is a direct result of the new manufacturer. Just thought I would let everyone know it was 100% about making it cheaper instead of making it better. I don't know the name of the new manufacturer, but the new owner is Prestige Brand."

For Headache "The new package “ON THE GO” is terrible. I have used BC Powder for many years. The new packaging is terrible, and the moment I can not find it in the old packaging, I will quit buying your product."

For Headache "BC Powder is my choice of pain reliever. Generations of my family believe in the miracles of BC. We use it for everything: toothaches, headaches, body aches, etc. Now someone has created this funky little package that resembles water flavor packets. When attempting to take the dang thing, it gets stuck at the bottom of the packet. It never fails; when I try and give it my famous tap to free it from the package (like I did the old package), the powder makes its way to my face, clothes, or eye! While most junkies doctor-hop, I am now store-hopping, buying up all those individual packs for almost $3.00 per pack of two. Just shows how much I hate the new packets. I recently discovered an alternative way of buying the old packets in a much bigger quantity. This was a relief for me. Now I can have my miracle drug on hand until the last one of those is gone. BC, bring back the old packets, please."

For Headache "I have used BC Powders for 20 years. I can't stand the new packaging! Please go back... I will no longer buy these powders unless I can find them in the original. Please don't screw up long-standing customers..."

For Headache "I have taken BC for over 30 years! I bought them by the box of 50. Ease of use in taking them! I am not going to spend my hard-earned money on these new to-go packs! I despise them! Give me the option of buying the BC in the original box and envelope! I was taking 6 a day! Not any more!!! I found this site because I was trying to find somewhere to order a case in the original packaging! I would gladly pay for a case in the original packaging. I kept extras in the freezer. They really worked for me, but I don't have the time to pull the on-the-go sticks apart to take! I get the medicine all over me!"

For Headache "I don’t care how you shake it, where you open it, and how you thump it to loosen it, anyway you handle it, you lose enough of the product to not be effective. I have switched to Stanback and may try Goodies. BC was the best for me and a lot of others, but everyone has the same complaint, and the manufacturer does not care, but they will when their product slows down, and that is happening now."

For Pain "The new BC Powder packaging is horrible. The med clumps in the package, and you end up spilling it trying to make it come out. The packaging is too small for people with carpal tunnel syndrome in their hands, it is too hard to handle, and forget about it if you have age and arthritis to try and manipulate it. Old is best. Don't mess with it if it ain't broken."

For Headache "I hate the new packaging - you can't get all the powder out - great for the company because I’m sure they’ll sell more to the customer as they need to use more packets. Bring back the old packaging - I’ve been taking them for 40 yrs."

For Headache "I couldn't agree more with everyone posting here, and I went to the website for the BC products and sent them a similar message. Perhaps if enough people do this, they will go back to their product development team and evaluate the paper stock type, as this may be the issue. Or will eliminate the change altogether. Either way, it certainly can't hurt."

For Headache "I have used BC powders for years with great results - but like everyone else, the new packaging sucks! I can't seem to get it all out, and I'm really not sure the dosage is the same. Regardless, please do away with this new packaging, because until you do, I am going to find another product."

For Headache "0 stars for new packaging / 10 stars for the effectiveness of the medication for headaches. I just had to write to say the new packaging is terrible! It took me three attempts to get one dose into my mouth. Please, please go back to the original packaging. Thank you."

For Pain "Please! What's up with this ridiculous new packaging? The product won't come out-wasteful. And it doesn't seem to work the same-maybe because some of the powder is left inside. I have to rip open, then lick the inside. Many times it goes all over. Going to buy up what I can of the original packaging! Fail!"

For Pain "My grandmother would lose her mind if she saw they messed with her BC. I've been taking these for years upon years. It was my go-to. This new packaging and powder is horrible. I read all the reviews, and not one positive. The powder isn't even the same consistency and a lot less. I can't find the old ones anywhere except eBay, and they are $$$$. Please be smart and change the package and formula back because you're losing a lot of $. A former loyal BC user."

For Headache "I have used BC Powder for more years than the person has lived that designed this product. Both my wife and I will find something else from now on. The product may still be the same, but it's no good if it doesn't come out of the package."

For Pain "The new packaging is terrible? On the go? I think not. They are hard to open. You have to lick it to get all of the powder out. And if anyone else may agree, there is less product in this stupid packaging. I search every store I can that still stocks the previous BC. Some marketing mucked this up. It’s worse than the new Coke back in the 80s. CHANGE THEM BACK!"

For Headache "BC powders are the best for headaches. But with new packs, it is not worth the effort to get the powder out, it is less stressful to take an aspirin and chew it up to get rid of the headache. The damn pack gives me a headache trying to get it out without spilling it everywhere. It’s a shame, now I have to go to another product."

For Headache "I'm a lifelong consumer of BC Powders and believe it is a wonderful product. However, BC Powder's new On-the-Go Powder Stick Packs are the biggest scam perpetrated on the American people. Bring back the original paper sleeve packaging. Please."

For Headache "I agree this is the worst change that has ever been made on a product that I use. I too have been taking them for over 50 years, and the product is (was) great. I waste 1/3 of the product and was going to move to Goodies, but I guess this must be the same owner or at least they listened to the same really uninformed marketing firm. I will continue my search for another product unless you can see that you are losing business and mend your ways!!!!!"

For Headache "Please bring back the old packaging. I know most are reluctant to change and don't like it just because. I don't mind change. I sometimes like to take half a powder, and it is hard to judge with the new packaging. Also, it's hard to get the product out. Why not just offer us a choice? Thanks."

For Headache "I have taken BC powders for my headaches for years now and stood by them 100%. I wouldn't take anything else. But since the new packaging, I search for the old style packages, and if I can't find any, I won't take anything at all. With the new package, I don't feel like I get it all. I don't like the taste because it takes so long to get it to come out, and I tend to take more than I used to because they don't seem to work as well, possibly because I don't get all the powder out of the pkg."

For Headache "I am a long-time user of BC Powders. They work great for my headaches. However, the new packaging stinks. Very difficult to use without wasting some of the product. Please go back to the old packaging. And by the way, there doesn't appear to be 1000 mg in the new stick packs."

For Headache "I am also like other users for years of BC Powder. I'm not sure who decided to change the packaging, but it is horrible! Not only that, but there is a weird taste to it. Take it from someone who has been able to take BC Powders with water only for years, now I can barely stomach the taste. Also, the medicine gets stuck, so now it takes almost three times to get all the powder out! Change it back! This is horrible. I'm currently looking for the old packaging."
