"I have severe chronic pain from back, neck, and knee injuries. Now fibromyalgia, which is a living hell. I began to have what I call sleep attacks, where I would just fall asleep; reading, standing, talking on the phone (embarrassing). I fell asleep standing in the dining room and hit my face on the table. That was when I went on this medicine. It has helped tremendously. I have had a couple of attacks on it. But very few. I can drive without fear. What a blessing. I am worried about side effects. I don't want to be dependent on this medicine. But I need it, so I follow instructions and pray."

Amphetamine / dextroamphetamine "It helps bring my fatigue levels from a 2/10 to probably a 5/10. Not a cure-all but definitely gives me more energy than I am able to have on my own. It does give me tachycardia for about an hour after taking it, and I'm a 34-year-old without heart issues. That is the only downside. I do not feel 'high' or 'speedy' on this, but maybe because I'm so chronically low, I'd have to take a substantial dose to feel overwhelmed like that. I have taken 15 mg for 1.5 years now for chronic fatigue syndrome."

"Together with Modafinil, a functional combination for steady thinking, awareness, and attention to detail. Twenty mg of amphetamine salts with 400 mg Modafinil upon waking, 20 mg amphetamine salts about 4 hours later. Modafinil 200 at about 3 p.m. and 20 mg amphetamine salts at around 5 p.m. A productive, positive, and inclusive day was had by me and all around me. "I take in between 10-20 mg amphetamine/dextroamphetamine IR daily for narcolepsy. Effects on my body: Overall wakefulness: improved a lot, although you can still feel the sleepiness sitting just behind the medicine. I just don’t fall asleep. Memory: I already notice a better ability to recall things, both short and long-term, probably because I’m actually storing the information now in periods of wakefulness, whereas before much of the day I was in a state of confusion from falling in and out of sleep. Appetite: significant reduction. Before, I would go to work and not eat anything and go through intense hunger pangs, where my stomach would physically hurt because I hadn’t eaten in over 16 hours. Weight loss: 10 lbs loss in 6 weeks. Mental state/mood: same. Sleep attacks: has cut out attacks entirely on my 20 mg/day. Addiction/urge?: I imagine the physical tolerance will build, but I do not feel a hint of addiction, nor do I think I ever will. Interactions: contact a doctor before putting any supplement or OTC in your body."

Amphetamine / dextroamphetamine "For extreme fatigue, I have taken Adderall 10mg a day for 6 months with occasionally missing a day. It gives me great energy, negates my fatigue, and seems to assuage a slight depression."
