For Rheumatoid Arthritis "I can tell you right now the Mallinckrodt hydrocodone has been changed! I don’t think there is anything in them for pain, I believe they are taking it off the market. I, for one, don’t know what I’m going to do. I’m 60, I’ve had 5 back surgeries, 1 neck surgery, I have been in pain for 13 years and have been taking the same dose for just as long! I’m sick to my stomach, puke, I’ve had a cluster headache for over two months, dizzy, gaining weight, tired all the time! Why would the government do this to people that truly need this medication. I’m not a kid sneaking pills out of the medicine cabinet! I wish I knew who to call about Mallinckrodt! This stuff is nasty, I’m worried there is something going into it that could really hurt us! My god, what can we do?"

Acetaminophen / hydrocodone for Pain "It pains me to see my mother suffer, to have been naive enough that I believed all generics are created equal and to have accused her of addiction and abusing her medicine. For a 10-month period in 2021, she had a better generic and her emotional, physical, and social health exceeded what I had assumed possible. Now back on bad generics, she is yellow, lethargic, and incoherent as well as needing more to ease pain. FDA do your job, you’re damaging my mother."

For Rheumatoid Arthritis "I’ve been taking the generic Vicodin 7.5/325 for 15 years due to failed back surgeries. Walgreens is my pharmacy. They changed brands from Watson to Mallinckrodt and never told me. I noticed I was sick to my stomach all the time, had headaches, and felt tired. I didn’t know what was going on. When I got a refill on my inhaler, they changed that too. So, I checked my pills and realized they changed them without informing me! Now, I have to deal with this for a month. The pharmacist tried to assure me there is no difference in them, but that just makes me upset. I don’t appreciate being told something I know better!"

For Rheumatoid Arthritis "I could tell a difference the first tablet I took; it gave me a stomach ache and made me feel almost lethargic after an hour or so. I thought my condition was maybe getting worse. I stopped taking the prescribed amount and just used it when needed; I felt awful for weeks. I got my new prescription of a different brand, M365, and OMG I feel like me again without the side effects of this drug. I will be sure to let the pharmacy know that I cannot take this brand due to too many different side effects."

For Pain "I refilled my prescription a week ago for my regular acetaminophen with hydrocodone, and the pharmacy gave me these pills. The manufacturer is Lupin, imprint is N 358 and 10 on the reverse side. This is the first time using this brand of pills, and they are awful! I constantly have a headache and nausea, so much so that I actually vomited after taking one. I thought I had a stomach bug or something, but I realized it started when I started my new bottle of hydros, and nothing in terms of pain relief. Also, I feel more tired and depressed. The FDA needs to take these off the market."

For Back Pain "I have multiple myeloma and arthritis, on chemo with neuropathy, and have been taking acetaminophen and hydrocodone 10/325's for 3 to 4 years. Apparently, my Walgreens switched to the Mallinckrodt brand of acetaminophen with hydrocodone a couple of months ago, as I noticed upon taking one that I didn't feel a thing, nor did it alleviate the pain in my back (where my lesion is) nor the pain in my legs and feet. Most often, my eyes would get a little heavy, and by bedtime I would be able to sleep, but not with these! They are useless. I might as well take Ibuprofen. I am contacting my insurance pharmacy and asking them to request a different brand or non-generic. The FDA is so crooked, people with bona fide chronic pain are being punished because of the pain clinics and addicts. It is so unfair it makes me want to cry."

Acetaminophen / hydrocodone for Pain "I watch my father suffer in pain and lethargy, he’s taken this medicine for many years, yet it’s changed in side effects and effectiveness. How do I get my father better pain medicine? How do I get my old dad back while he’s still here with me? Is this intentional? Are they making pain medicine horrible on purpose? How do we fix it?"

For Back Pain "My medicine was recalled back to Rhodes and Parma Pharmaceuticals for testing. I am having all the above complaints: something's changed: heart racing, no relief, valve problems, lethargic, zombie, headaches. It’s like the chain on medicine that doesn’t work. Will relay updates later. Thank you."

Acetaminophen / hydrocodone for Pain "I have extreme pain from a tooth, and my dentist prescribed me Norco, and I thought the excruciating pain would finally end. This stuff is complete garbage. I usually have to take lower doses due to sensitivity, and this was a full dose. It did absolutely nothing for pain. The only thing it did was make me a tiny bit tired, but Tris needs to figure out what they are doing. DO NOT use this for pain relief, ibuprofen does a lot better."

For Back Pain "Was given Rhodes Pha brand of acetaminophen with hydrocodone and doesn't take pain away but makes me tired and nauseated. My stomach hurts, head hurts, feel like the pill is garbage. Thank God I didn't pay for it. I've been through a lot of makers, and this is the newest and no good brand. Yes, name makes a difference. Kaiser has the best to my knowledge. It's not in your head, and all pills are not the same. If they were, they'd have one maker. And I get 10/325, just not the same. It's no wonder so many overdoses occur, these new pills don't work anymore."

For Rheumatoid Arthritis "To all of you that are having bad experiences with Tris Pharma hydrocodone with acetaminophen, I suggest letting the pharmacy know. I suggest complaining to your pharmacist's corporate office. I suggest calling the FDA and filing a complaint, other than just posting here, because if not enough people see anything, nothing will be done. I have rheumatoid arthritis, mostly in my hands but in all of my joints, and have a hard time getting out of bed in the morning. I also have degenerative disc disorder in my lower back. Walgreens pharmacy has Tris, and they will not order another brand per my doctor’s electronic prescription. I was told, “What we have on our shelf is what you get.” The Tris brand of hydrocodone with acetaminophen makes me very itchy, it either makes me really tired or very hyper, and it does nothing to relieve my pain. Two hours later, I will be asking myself if I even took a pain med."

"I have cancer stage 4 metastasized breast, so I have bad pain. Everything said on these reviews about the quality of the generic acetaminophen and hydrocodone is what I am going through. Watson worked the best. Mallinckrodt is the very worst. Ever since I have been taking Lupin, I have been so tired I can sleep all day and night. I didn't realize it was the pill, I thought it was the cancer. I called every pharmacy in my area, they all changed to Mallinckrodt. Every one of them. Out of desperation, I called CVS, and they mailed me Lupin. But they no longer will do that. So I called Rite Aid, and they have the brand Amnell. The doctor sent the script there. Not sure how these will work. I have a legitimate disease, how can the FDA not provide a quality product? How do you complain, and who do you complain to (FDA)? Everything everyone is saying is true."

For Rheumatoid Arthritis "In the past four years, my disease has progressed. I have been able to control my pain with hydrocodone. Recently started getting Watson 853. The pain has returned, now stomach upset and headache. Plus tired all the time. I take 2 10 mg 325. Now I feel I have to take more. I have read on other sites that Watson was bought by another company. What did they do? Please let us consumers and chronic pain patients the respect we deserve, and tell the truth. We're not crazy, you changed the active binding ingredients. Was this to save money? Well, I'd rather stop purchasing this placebo and deal with my pain. I just hope that no one dies by taking too much. Because I've read how patients are over-medicating to get relief."

For Back Pain "I have degenerative disc disease, a bulging disc, and arthritis in my back and neck. I used Norco yellow pill, recently, 2 months ago, Kaiser changed the manufacturer to Mallinckrodt, and I am having horrible side effects and new unusual pain (like I'm withdrawing or tapering off, and I'm taking the same dosage). I'm also extremely tired and fatigued, which I've never experienced. I was in denial that it was the change of manufacturer, but now I'm convinced it's the Mallinckrodt brand. Prior to the yellow pill, my pain decreased significantly, and I was able to work and do normal activities. Now I'm exhausted, in severe pain, and having an upset stomach. Why is a change in manufacturer causing this? Is something wrong with the Mallinckrodt manufacturer?"

For Pain "Hydrocodone-Acetaminophen 7.5-325. Cost $27.36 for 18 pills. Prescribed by my dentist for pain until my root canal. This product did absolutely nothing for the pain. Two aspirin by mouth did get rid of the pain and cost a penny. I tried the hydrocodone (the presc acetaminophen/hydrocodone) for two days with no results, it was manufactured by Mallinckrodt. As effective as a sugar pill. My past experience with hydrocodone was the same, so he switched to oxycodone, which removes all pain with a few side effects like tiredness and constipation. For the root canal, I took aspirin and acetaminophen."

For Back Pain "Generic acetaminophen with hydrocodone, i.e., generic Norco 10/325, is in no way near the brand name. Doesn’t matter what brand, they all have weird side effects and do nothing overall for the pain. Tiredness, confusion, and overall weird feeling. They should all be fined for making such inferior products."

Acetaminophen / hydrocodone for Pain "I was taking Percocet for some 6 years, and I felt it was time for a change. I was put on Norco 10-325, the same level as the Percocet I was taking. The first dose gave me a pleasant high and seemed to be effective on the pain, but about one hour later, I became horribly nauseated and vomited up the medication! Future doses proved the same results. This went on for about 10 days, even with an empty stomach. I tried Dramamine, water pills, Bonine, Metoclopramide, but no matter what, it made me horribly nauseated! In addition to that, I felt very lethargic, brain dead, and my sense of taste and smell seemed to elude me. Although it did relieve the pain, the side effects superseded the benefits. I am now back on my Percocet 10-325."

For Pain "What in the world is wrong with this Norco generic? Does not help my pain and is completely knocking me out! I cannot stay awake for nothing. People say the yellow Watsons worked, well, they did. I've been getting yellow generics by Qualitest and they are worthless. I believe they were once Endo, then Par. I don't care what brand you get, they are ALL utter junk. They want us old folks in pain to suffer, is my guess. Doesn't matter if you complain to the FDA daily, they obviously aren't doing anything about this junk. There is no way they are monitoring these generic companies, and the companies know it, so they are free to put this junk on the market with NO active ingredients in it. Try to find a chem biologist who can reverse engineer your pills so they can analyze what is in them. I am so lethargic from this crap right now."

Acetaminophen / hydrocodone for Back Pain "Works great, but when I stop taking them, I feel really tired, and I get hot, then cold, very uncomfortable. I'm only 21, and I've been taking them since I was 12. I also think it has a role in my ulcer."

For Pain "I've been taking Lortab and Norco 7.5/325 for several years off and on, they have given me my life back. It sometimes keeps me restless and awake some nights, but that's a lot better than being with chronic pain. When I quit taking them for a while, I have felt overly tired for several days and get diarrhea. But that goes away after a few days."

For Pain "I suffer from chronic pain and take an extended, longer-acting opiate pain med (methadone 10 mg). However, I had a dental abscess on the 23rd and was RX'd hydrocodone/acet 10-325 in the emergency room, and it worked wonderfully. The methadone works well for chronic everyday pain, but when sharp, acute pain such as a toothache, earache, or any kind of acute pain occurs, the Norco (hydrocodone 10/325) knocks the edge right off of it. No tiredness, grogginess, just fast pain relief. I was also RX'd hydrocodone 7.5/650 (Vicodin ES) a long time ago, and I remember it worked well then too."

For Pain "I compound fractured my tib/fib (lower leg) and was in unbearable pain. I had to get emergency surgery to get 3 surgical steel rods put in my leg. I went home 2 weeks later. From heavy morphine usage at the hospital, my doctor prescribed me Norco, and it works very well. I feel absolutely no pain whatsoever, although I do feel tired and happy whilst on the painkiller. It works out amazingly for my situation."

Acetaminophen / hydrocodone for Pain "I was given this after I had an IUD inserted, which was incredibly painful and has continued to be, and it didn’t do anything for the pain, didn’t even touch it. The pain actually felt worse after taking it, which makes no sense. All it did was make me extremely tired and out of it. No effect on pain whatsoever."

Acetaminophen / hydrocodone for Pain "I was prescribed this after wisdom removal. It makes me nauseous, so I also take Zofran, which fixes that. It also makes me extremely tired, but it takes most of the pain away. Not all of it, but it definitely helps me function a little better."

Acetaminophen / hydrocodone for Pain "This is an update. The last 3 months of Tris brand of acetaminophen with hydrocodone (generic Norco) has felt like taking nothing. My new refill Friday of January 17 now feels like I'm taking a completely different medication. This is not hydrocodone in these pills!!! I am tired, dizzy, have a headache, and a little upset stomach. These manufacturers are doing some sort of testing on consumers, using us as lab rats, and it's sickening. PLEASE, PEOPLE, FILE COMPLAINTS WITH THE COMPANIES AND FILE COMPLAINTS WITH THE FDA ONLINE FORMS EVERY DAY UNTIL THEY GET INVESTIGATED."
