For Back Pain "Been taking the yellow hydrocodone for 10 years now. They have switched to the white ones, they are horrible - they do not work. They feel like they have taken the opioid out of the medication, and I am in pain all the time. They need to bring the yellow hydrocodone back. We are in pain, taking this medication is not working. I don’t know what to do. I need help, bring back the yellow hydrocodone, please."

For Back Pain "Went to get my script filled in July 2021. I could tell immediately that they changed the formula. They don’t work at all now. My back hurts all the time now, and my shoulders and just about everything. I could take 1 and get relief before and also would get a little bit of energy. Now it is like taking nothing. Well, people, they finally managed to screw all the pain pills up. Well, I guess I am going to be in pain the rest of my life since they did this to the pills. I also am getting depressed because this is not the same medicine. I called the pharmacy, and she said it was me that I had built up a tolerance. I know that is a lie. They have worked fine until last month. This should be illegal, them lying to us and changing meds, and now we have to go through a living nightmare because they changed the formula or active ingredient. I am so depressed I don’t know what to do."

Acetaminophen / hydrocodone for Back Pain "I got injured at work from my upper back part. Fortunately, it was a muscle spasm. The pain made me fall on the floor, but after the doctor saw me, he prescribed me hydrocodone/acetaminophen, and it really works. The pain was there but not as strong as the first day. Every time I miss a dose, the pain comes back, but it disappears after every dose. They work very well."

For Back Pain "I have had sciatic nerve pain for over a year. The Department of Labor has not been very cooperative with my doctors. My sciatic nerve pain, as well as lower back pain, has gotten worse month by month, this is due to a fall at work. The 5-325 only seems to work when used with muscle relaxers, as well as pain medication for anti-inflammation/pain. I wake up daily with pain, after taking the pain meds, I can function throughout the day. But taking 5-325 by itself does nothing to control the pain. I have to take all three at once, twice a day. When I'm physically active (doing dishes, sweeping, or preparing food), my pain increases three times for the next two days. I have to take all three meds at least three times a day. Please, Department of Labor, approve the surgery. Thanks."

Acetaminophen / hydrocodone "I used Norco for two years, at the dose of 2 10/325 every 6-8 hours. I was being treated for loose stools and pain as a result of colorectal cancer. Don't know what I would have done without this medicine."

Acetaminophen / hydrocodone for Pain "I was given a prescription for Norco 7.5 mg after I had 3 impacted wisdom teeth removed. One was not erupted, and I also had to have a bone graft on my left side. The Norco helped somewhat, but I also took ibuprofen 800 mg with it for breakthrough pain. That really helped a lot."

Acetaminophen / hydrocodone for Pain "Had lower back surgery in 2000ish. Was taking 750 mg before and after surgery. Help with dealing with pain and got me back to work as a roofer. Recently my neck had been giving me problems and an MRI revealed disc herniations, bulging disc, degenerative disc disease, flattening of my left spinal cord, and a hemangioma, with pain and numbness in my left arm/hand, neck. I've been treating with 500 mg Vicodin & 15 mg MS-Contin. Brings pain level down to a tolerable level, but as always, some days are better than others."

Acetaminophen / hydrocodone for Pain "I've a degenerative spinal disorder known as syringomyelia (without Arnold Chiari malformation) which was caused after an auto accident in which I was ejected from my car as it flipped. I suffered several fractures to the skull, sub-arachnoid hematoma (resolved itself) in addition to a broken spine. I was initially taking Norco 10/325 4x daily, which worked fine at the time, then my syrinx began presenting symptoms; mainly horrid pain at the site of it (C3-T2). Tramadol 50 mg was added in addition to Zanaflex and Xanax for the accompanying exacerbation of anxiety, but still in pain. This medicine is short-acting and not sufficient for SM sufferers."

Acetaminophen / hydrocodone for Pain "I have used this after my surgery, and I give it a 10/10, even though I was only about 14. This worked very well. My mom would give me the medicine whenever the time it was needed to be given (scheduled). I am currently 16, and the surgery I received was replacing dying bone cartilage with live ones from another part of the bone. It was painful, especially during the recovery."

For Rheumatoid Arthritis "I have RA and fibromyalgia. Add to that a L5-S1 18mm herniated disc with fur involvement and stenosis, and you have someone who has to live with chronic, severe pain. Of course, most who have RA develop a higher pain tolerance than someone who suffers an acute pain episode because we deal with constant pain 24/7, and you tend to grow to accept that pain. Your brain tends to help you basically hypnotize yourself into a bit of pain relief just as a mechanism of self-preservation, however, the pain is still there, and it’s still very painful. You just automatically fool yourself into thinking or accepting it as less. Having said that, RA patients also contend with flares (flare-ups), which not only has you feeling constant pain, you just get to add to that already constant pain with total body pain/aching and fever, which feels like a bad case of the flu with aching all over, along with your already excruciating chronic pain. So, relief via pain medication is absolutely necessary."

Acetaminophen / hydrocodone for Pain "I have had numerous teeth pulled recently, getting ready for dentures, and first, I was prescribed Demerol, which made me feel ill, and personally, I still felt pain. Then it was Percocet, which worked great for pain but made me itch. Finally, Vicodin 5 mg, which I had to take 1 and a half to knock out all the pain. My dentist tried Vicoprofen 7.5, which worked absolutely perfectly but was a bit expensive compared to regular Vicodin. Well, he prescribed Vicodin 7.5/500, and 1 tablet works wonders. I was told that I could take 2 at a time if needed, but so far, 1 seems to work for about 5 hours. I was told that I could build up a quick tolerance to the drug, so I take 800 mg ibuprofen unless I really need the Vicodin."

For Pain "Have had fibromyalgia and interstitial cystitis for 15 years. It has progressed over the body and the bladder is shrinking. I am on disability. Between the Lorcet 10s, muscle relaxers, and occasional Xanax, I can function a few days a week. The pain is never completely relieved. I always have breakthrough pain, but with pain medicine, I can function a little bit better as they take the edge off. A positive attitude and a sense of humor help a great deal."
