For Pain "The M365 tablet (5/325) produced by Mallinckrodt is a joke. Did not relieve post-op abdominal surgery pain. The only thing I felt, after taking the pill at 8 pm, was a terrible headache the next morning. Thinking it was a fluke, I took another one around 12 pm. Again, no pain relief, but another terrible headache around 10 pm that night. I spoke with the clinical pharmacist at our military hospital, and she is reporting this on the FDA’s Medwatch website. I encourage everyone who has had problems with this drug/company to report it, also. It’s a shame they are allowed to continue manufacturing this useless product."

For Pain "I have interstitial cystitis, bladder ulcers, self-cath, chronic bladder and kidney infections with high fevers, and 27 surgeries. This drug I have been on for 12 years, 10/325. I was on Watson for years. That helped. Then was switched to M367 pills, which gave me severe hives and nausea. Left me in pain. My urologist didn't want to write my prescription because of the DEA. I went to pain management. My doctor, luckily, is great. He put me on the fentanyl patch with the Norco. The patch worked but it was too strong. I am on time-release Nucynta. They are a joke. I have been taking the Norco from Amneal for years and they helped me. Now I picked up my new prescription and I got Lupin. They are horrible. Headache, nauseated all the time, and severe dry mouth. Worst is the pain I am in. I haven't left my bed in 4 days. With Amneal, I could do life. I called every pharmacy and they all carry that M367 brand. My pharmacist admitted they are terrible. CVS was so rude. They accused me of drug shopping. I have never failed a pill count or drug test in ten years. I am stuck with these horrible fake pills for 30 days."

For Pain "Have taken Watson 7.5 with acetaminophen for approx 10 years and have tolerated it well with decent pain relief. I have been told by my pharmacy that it is no longer being manufactured due to lawsuits. Malinkrodt brand is absolutely garbage, it causes me muscle tension and headache, the exact condition I'm taking it to relieve. Malinkrodt hydrocodone has been recalled many times for quality issues. They must be bribing the right politicians. Most reviews on this site are about how terrible Malinkrodt is. At least I realize it's not just me that feels this. I used to think it was due to the inert ingredients, but now I think it's due to their pills not having the right main ingredient or the right quantity of the main ingredient."

Acetaminophen / hydrocodone for Pain "Norco replaced the TRIS brand Hydrocodone 10/325 at Walgreens recently. It is terrible!!! Didn't reduce pain like the TRIS 10/325 did, and it caused me a terrible headache followed by nausea. Tried taking them for 3 days and flushed them down the toilet. Horrible product - Walgreens needs to get the TRIS manufactured product back ASAP!!!"

Acetaminophen / hydrocodone for Pain "My wisdom teeth are impacted, and I have several cavities. I am waiting to have surgery. My doctor prescribed Vicodin for the pain, and it works very well as long as I continue taking it every 6 hours. I can tell when the medication wears off because my jaw starts to throb."

For Rheumatoid Arthritis "I have been on acetaminophen with hydrocodone for 6 years, and just in the last 2 weeks, I got a refill with Amneal brand pills. I thought it was the end of me. Had to switch to 1/2s, and then was spacing them 9 hours apart but would become loopy, headache, and no pain relief but a high, which was NOT enjoyable, and a heart rate that wouldn't slow. Has anyone felt like this on the Amneal brand of acetaminophen with hydrocodone?"

For Rheumatoid Arthritis "In the past four years, my disease has progressed. I have been able to control my pain with hydrocodone. Recently started getting Watson 853. The pain has returned, now stomach upset and headache. Plus tired all the time. I take 2 10 mg 325. Now I feel I have to take more. I have read on other sites that Watson was bought by another company. What did they do? Please let us consumers and chronic pain patients the respect we deserve, and tell the truth. We're not crazy, you changed the active binding ingredients. Was this to save money? Well, I'd rather stop purchasing this placebo and deal with my pain. I just hope that no one dies by taking too much. Because I've read how patients are over-medicating to get relief."

For Pain "Chronic pain for years, have taken hydrocodone with acetaminophen 10-325 with moderate results until a few years ago when the yellow Watson brand went away. Had a reaction to Walgreens generic, sick for a month, rash, headache, it did not work. Then an independent pharmacy provided me KVK brand, had good results with the pain and no sickness, but now that pharmacy has closed. Now in my area, I can only find Tris, Lupin, Mallinckrodt brands. After researching those brands, I can find no positive reviews. Any advice, please post. I hope to find hydrocodone and acetaminophen that works and will not make me sick or a pharmacy that will provide the KVK brand. What's going on with these generics?"

For Pain "When brand Vicodin or Lortab became unavailable to my pharmacy, I was switched (by CVS) to the generic brand Mallinckrodt 5-300 mg white oval scored tablet. For me, this worked. No side effects whatsoever, just pain relief within 30-40 minutes lasting upwards of 5-6 hours. Even when taking 1/2 tablet, relief was always welcome. Now CVS has decided that LUPIN Pharmaceuticals will be their supplier for this medication. As of Tuesday, my new pills are the same dosage, the same frequency, but oh what a nightmare. 20-35 minutes in, a massive headache starts at the base of the skull, moving upwards to the crown of the head, dizziness accompanied by waves of nausea. As for pain relief, none, nothing. Norco and its generic by Actavis is another form of this medication that I had a terrible reaction to, hence, off to the “Med Drop” with those as well."

For Back Pain "I have taken 10/325 Norco for severe neck and spine injuries for over seven years. First, it was the yellow oblong pill. Next, it was the white oblong pill. Now, it's oval. I have experienced way more pain than usual since starting this almost a month ago. I have headaches, my ears are ringing, I am nauseous. I looked that pill up online and saw it was a hydrocodone 5/500, not a 10/325. Can they do that, legally? I realize there's a drug epidemic, but some of us do need the medication. Surgery is not an option for me."

For Back Pain "I am a disabled and retired hard-working American who can no longer work due to pain in various parts of my body: back, neck, shoulders. I’ve been able to live with my pain and continued to work for 20 years with the use of Watson Norco Mallinckrodt pills. Now, for some reason, during my week of taking my refilled prescription, I noticed a lack of relief and headaches, joint pain, and breathing problems and took my pills out and noticed that my pills have the imprint G036 and not the most recent M366. What?? So I went back to ask the pharmacist if I had been given the wrong pills? No, you have a substitute because the brand Mallinckrodt is not available and is being supplied by Tris, which may have different fillers. What? And they didn’t think it was important to tell me this. Someone needs to address these people, or someone may really get hurt. Playing with people’s medications should be a federal offense."

Acetaminophen / hydrocodone for Pain "I was given 6 5/325 and took 2 following a tooth extraction. They don't work at all. I had a pounding headache associated with the forceful removal of an impacted molar, and these didn't relieve the pain enough for me to sleep later that night. I even took these along with 800 mg of ibuprofen, and still no pain relief. The sad part is the hydrocodone is such a small percentage that the acetaminophen is the more dangerous of the 2 drugs in these pills."

For Pain "The Malinckrodt generic Norco 10/325 is utter rubbish! Shame on them and the FDA. I’m glad I found this site, so now I know it’s not in my head. I just wanted pain relief from dental surgery, and what I got was nausea, headache, and my stomach was so bad I was literally rolling around in bed holding my stomach, moaning. Not sure what’s worse: the pain or the nausea and headache from these pills! All of us can’t be imagining this! These pills are poison!!! SHAME ON ALL INVOLVED!!"

For Back Pain "I'm having the same problem with Lupin brand not working. I called the pharmacy manager and told him I was getting headaches with this brand, and he was very nice and is ordering the brand that works for me. Give it a try. It may help you too."

For Pain "I've used this on and off for chronic pain and other health conditions. I find that, for me, it's the only thing that takes the edge off without bad side effects. However, I recently filled a prescription and was given a form by a new manufacturer - Actavis Pharma. They have bought out Watson and changed the formula. Shortly after taking one, I was extremely nauseated and had a horrible headache. It made my pain much worse; I was in bed most of the day. The pharmacy I go to only prescribes this brand now because it's cheaper. There are numerous complaints online from people having bad side effects like I did. The pill ID is 2172. If you're given this brand and have problems, please report it to both the FDA and Actavis."

Acetaminophen / hydrocodone for Pain "This medication worked well for my pain after a C-section, but after 3 days I began to experience horrible nausea and headaches. The nausea caused me to strain my stomach, so I stopped taking the medication and experienced headaches several days after quitting. Overall, it was an effective pain reliever, but for me, the side effects were too much."

Acetaminophen / hydrocodone for Pain "I have had 2 left knee reconstructions and was prescribed Vicodin 10/325. After a few short weeks, I was already immune to the dosage and had to start taking more. Although it works great for body pain, I have a killer headache and no appetite once it wears off. When I have a few good days that are pain-free and I don't use the medication, I feel like I'm going through withdrawals."

Acetaminophen / hydrocodone for Back Pain "Taking this solidly about 5 years now. People, please, if you take anything, there is a risk to become addicted. How many of you drink sodas, eat junk food, or diet sodas daily? All can hurt you, possibly kill you. If you have real pain, this works. Be responsible and take what is prescribed. If your body is getting used to the dose, tell your doctor. Don't take more. Sometimes taking this can cause rebound headaches. Will cause constipation. Can make your skin dry. This medicine does not make me drowsy or slow my heart rate. It could for you. Be safe. Live well."

Acetaminophen / hydrocodone for Back Pain "A few years ago, I was sitting on the floor getting my bills ready for taxes, leaned forward to grab a bill, and got 'stuck.' Could not move. The doctor prescribed Vicodin. It caused a blinding headache. Still had the back pain, and the headache was almost worse than a migraine."

Acetaminophen / hydrocodone for Pain "I have been given Vicodin for severe migraines, back pain, wisdom tooth removal, and kidney infection with kidney stones. It never fails to make me feel nauseous, give me headaches, and make it incredibly difficult to function at times, but it did take away my pain. After my last ER visit, I asked for something other than Vicodin, they gave me Percocet, and it works well with minimal side effects."

For Pain "I have taken hydrocodone 10-325 by Watson but M637. I had hip replacement and was prescribed 853 on discharge. It took longer to provide relief, maybe an hour, but did provide the relief needed. Gave me a slight headache right at the beginning of taking it right in the forehead/eyes, but was short-lived."

Acetaminophen / hydrocodone for Pain "I've just recently had 19 teeth pulled all at once and absolutely couldn't sleep at night. I was given 750 mg of Vicodin (Hydrocodone), and now I can sleep. It takes the pain away but only lasts for 3 hours at the most. I sometimes get a headache from it and have suffered from constipation. All in all, the relief you feel from severe pain is well worth it. Do not drive while taking this medication. It makes some people sleepy and slows down your reaction time."

Acetaminophen / hydrocodone for Pain "I was originally prescribed this for a foot injury. Not one for pain medicines, I reluctantly take these once in a while. However, the last couple of times I have taken them at night due to body aches and pains, it killed the pain, but my sleep was filled with vivid dreams, and I could not reach the deep sleep. I woke up with a headache, hangover feeling, and totally drained throughout the next day - not worth it in my opinion with the side effects I am experiencing. Use with caution."

For Back Pain "I don't know what's going on with CVS, but lately, every time I get my script of acetaminophen with hydrocodone filled, they change my meds brands, and for the last couple of months, every brand that I have been given has been garbage. The u03 (Aurolife Pharma LLC) has absolutely no pain relief, and the M367 (Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals) only works for a very short time, followed by a severe headache. I spoke with my pain management doctor, who seems to not care very much and refuses to allow me to seek a new pharmacy. He said that is illegal and considered pharmacy shopping. But what am I supposed to do about the intense pain that I'm dealing with? My whole life is upside down due to the pain levels I'm in, and it seems like I have zero options for help."
