For Migraine "I've been suffering from debilitating migraines for 5 years. I see auras first, to the point I can't even see out of one or both of my eyes. Once the flashing lights go away, the pain comes, and it's so excruciating I vomit. I've tried aspirin, ibuprofen, and Goody's powders... finally today I almost wrecked while driving when I couldn't see because a migraine was coming on. I pulled into the CVS and asked the pharmacist what I should take. It was the last resort before going to the ER. He said Excedrin. I'm now back at home typing this review!!!!! I can't believe it. All I'm experiencing is pressure, but no pain. I can live with migraines. I don't have to be down for 4 hours when I have kids to take care of. Thank you so much, Excedrin!!!!!"

For Pain/Fever "Have used the product for 20/25 years, love Goody’s and use it daily. New on-the-go packs are terrible. Bought B/C, but now they have on-the-go packs as well. Made in the same facility??? Please bring back the waxed paper fold. Btw, if you place the powder under your tongue, you taste nothing. Goody’s, your spokesperson Richard Petty would not be happy with the new pack. Please go back or offer both to consumers. Thank you."

For Pain/Fever "'Go take a powder.' I heard this in movies and in the South. I found Goody's a couple of years ago. Instant head and body ache relief. Loved the little gum wrapper doses. Then they changed to their new 'On The Go Stick Packs'! What a worthless, terrible, inconvenient way to package such a great product. You tear one end and try to pour it in your mouth, but most gets stuck in the back of the little plastic infused paper pouch. You must flick and jiggle the pouch, spraying contents all over your face and clothes. I sent them an email, and the response was pathetic. I have not bought any since. Excedrin is the same ingredients. Just chew them up so they work fast. Bye Bye Goody's."

For Pain/Fever "The new packaging is the most annoying thing ever and hope Goodies find the drop in sales as an indication they have to go back. I've used it for years, always keeping a pack from a convenience store in my wallet as a backup and am now looking for a replacement. The powder now gets everywhere, and I had thought it was the loss of powder that stopped it from working as well but now wonder, as others do, about the change in the powder itself."

For Migraine "I've taken these pills twice, and each time I have had very bad anxiety attacks. I was mostly concentrating on the sensation of floating and nothing being real to check if I still had a headache. I don't know if it was because I took these at night, but nevertheless, I will probably never take these again because the attacks are terrifying. I'm not saying this wouldn't work for some other person, but I'm putting this up to warn people. I thought it was just my anxiety acting up, but then I read other reviews. Please, people with anxiety, take caution."

For Pain/Fever "I really like Goody powders, but hate the new packaging. It's harder to swallow. Thinking of buying something different. Hate to change, but don't like getting choked or not being able to get all the powder because of packaging. You should really consider your consumers."

For Migraine "Have used for a long time for headaches and pain, and it was the only thing that helped. Since the package change, it doesn't work as long or as well. Really hate the change and miss the original dosage of medicine."

For Migraine "I had a very bad reaction. My stomach burning, cramping, and feeling nauseated, very ill to the point I had to go to urgent care. Now it’s going on 4 days feeling sick. Be glad when this gets out of my system. Never ever take this again."

For Pain/Fever "The medicine itself is great. The sealed pouches can go straight to the bin! Whoever decided to change the individual packets should not only be fired, but should also be put in prison for 9 days! Minimum! Ok, 4 days. By the way, I'm switching to BC headache powders immediately and urge everyone on the planet to do the same and never ever use Goody's again. You should have changed the name to... Goody luck getting the powder out of the packet, fool. Stupid! Quality control, anyone?"

For Migraine "I've had migraines about once a month for a couple of years, sometimes more often. I'm a teenager, so when I would get my migraines, I was physically unable to get out of bed and would have to miss multiple days of school and make up work. Three months ago, I went to my doctor because my previous medication wasn't working. She recommended Excedrin Migraine, and my grades have shot through the roof. I take Excedrin as soon as the vision halos set in, and after 20-45 minutes of the halos, when the migraine would normally set in, instead of an excruciating headache, I get a minor tingling sensation in my head instead, which doesn't bother me at all, actually, it kind of feels nice. I would recommend Excedrin Migraine to anyone!"

For Pain/Fever "I wouldn't even belabor (argue or discuss) the point of having to shake the packet, try to take the product, see that half of it is stuck in the bottom, shake the packet again, tear the packet down the side to get to the rest of the product. If the formula were the same and the product worked as it did previously, it might be OK, but it isn't and it doesn't. No, it isn't psychosomatic on my part. Goody's has been the go-to pain reliever in my house for 20 years or more, and I have simply stopped purchasing them. Please bring the original product back."

For Pain/Fever "It is an awesome product, and I have been using it for over 50 years. The new packaging is beyond horrible, can't get all the powder out, or it spills in the effort to open the new package. The incident which caused the change was not due to Goody."

For Pain/Fever "Have used Goody Powders for ages. The new packaging is a disaster. You can't get all the powder out without cutting it open with a pair of scissors, and then it's a mess. Impossible. Please listen to your loyal customers and go back to the original packaging! If it's a matter of labeling the individual packaging, just print it on the old original packet."

For Pain/Fever "I am 60 years old and have been using Goody's for at least 40 years. This new packaging you guys have developed is terrible. Hard to get in, and since I have chronic neck pain, I cannot get the product out! So I am switching to something else unless you go back to the original packaging."

For Pain/Fever "I’m 68 and have osteoarthritis. I’ve been using Goody’s powders for a long time to relieve joint pain. Goody’s powders work. But I also hate the new packaging. The old folding packets were much easier to open and use. Please bring them back."

For Pain/Fever "I have been taking Goody powders for a little over 30 years because they're wonderful for getting rid of headaches and other pains. I absolutely hate the new packaging on the go, it's so hard to get all of the powder out, and sometimes it doesn't come all the way out. Like the other person said in Tennessee, it's humid, and that's where I'm at. Please go back to the fold-over packaging."

For Pain/Fever "Maybe the managers bought stock in Excedrin, that's the only reason I can see for such a universally hated change. It worked! I can just crush an Excedrin when I get a headache. At least I'll get all I paid for - and not just wear it on my front."

For Migraine "I have gotten migraines since I was 3, and I would get mild headaches to intense migraines basically every day for a good 4 years. I tried everything, and Excedrin Migraine works so well and fast! I actually just took some like 40 minutes ago, and the pain has subsided enough to write this review! This medicine honestly changed my life!"

For Pain/Fever "Goody's is my go-to for fast headache relief, but the new sealed packets are terrible. There is nothing good about them. Goody's, please stop trying to solve a problem that isn't there. The folded paper is a perfect design. I'm sure it's even cheaper to make than the new sealed packs. The folded paper is much easier to dump into one location inside your mouth. These new sealed packets force you to shake and tap them to get the powder to fall out, which then gets all over the inside of your mouth and throat. Terrible idea! Everyone that I know hates these new packets too. Please go back to what has worked perfectly for the last 10+ years and leave it alone after that. There's no need to fix something that isn't broken. I would have given a 10-star if it wasn't for the horrible new packets."

For Pain/Fever "Forced to get what little product one can before tearing the package in tweezer fashion and having to hit somewhere around one’s mouth with the remainder. What an absolutely asinine idea. Not worth the effort anymore..."

For Pain/Fever "I take these for headache/backache/arthritis. I am so sad and upset over the new packaging - been using it for a couple of months now and I don’t like it one bit better now than I did when I tried the first one. The powder goes everywhere! Takes 2-3-4 tries to get it all into your mouth and then you have a shower of residue down the front of your shirt! Not only is it a colossal aggravation, but you look like a moron trying to take one in public and forget it altogether while you’re driving! Just a small note of interest... My grandmother knew Doc Goody personally in Concord, NC. During the Depression, Doc Goody hired her and another local lady to work at his home in the evening - after their hosiery mill shift - to sit and fold and package Goody powders for sale. She always spoke fondly of him and he gave her four kids some free medical care too. If this was done due to some kind of a safety concern, can’t you change the outer packaging and leave the inside packaging alone?"

For Pain/Fever "Love 'em for my lower back pain! Fast and effective. Plus, I like that it has caffeine in it for just a little extra pep at work. However, I must echo the sentiments of many other posters on here: the Go-Packs are terrible! Sometimes, I have to thump the pack really hard just to get all the medicine out. I prefer the simple, traditional wax envelopes much, much more!"

For Migraine "I want to express how much I appreciate this medication! I get migraines every now and again that even prescription medications didn’t help. But Excedrin seems to help almost 100 percent of the time, and I am so grateful because I am able to actually function and get through the day without having to suffer! Thank you so much!"

For Pain/Fever "I HATE the new packaging! The texture of the powder is like finely ground glass. There is less powder in each packet; I have to take two. It takes too long to get the powder out of the packet; it doesn't slide out easily, and it gets stuck on the side. By the time I finally get some of it out, I am in worse shape because of the struggle. This is my last time purchasing a 'headache' for a headache!"
