MedThink Communications Wins Four Aster Awards in Healthcare Advertising Agency Competition

RALEIGH, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jun 4, 2009 - MedThink Communications, a healthcare advertising agency with nine doctorate-level scientists who support the creative, digital, advertising and public relations services, won two gold awards and two bronze awards in the 2009 Aster Awards competition. The national awards program recognizes excellence in healthcare marketing.

MedThink's gold awards represent the top five percent of 3,000 entries submitted from across the United States, while the bronze awards represent the top 16 percent of entries in the nation.

The gold awards were presented for MedThink's patient education booklet and a pharmaceutical logo and letterhead design, and the bronze awards recognized MedThink's creativity on a sales leave-behind and an examination room poster.

The Aster Awards program is hosted by Marketing Healthcare Today and Creative Images, Inc., and recognizes outstanding healthcare communications professionals for excellence in their healthcare advertising and marketing efforts.

Participants' entries competed against similar-sized organizations in their category. Winning entries scored at least in the top 85 percent. Judging criteria include creativity, layout and design, functionality, message effectiveness, production quality and overall appeal.
