On 25 Mg of Zoloft month an a half, today I all the sudden got extremely emotional, started crying, I'm not that type a person. I feel hopeless, any experience this, or know if I should up dose?
I was on Zoloft off n on for over 20 years n it worked for me with the anxiety n panic, but wasn't all that great for the depression. Lexapro worked some on all three conditions though at the beginning it kept me wide awake. I didn't take it,but for a short while. There are some other good (meds) with the SSRI's n SSNRI's or SNRI's. It's just having to go through the trial n error to find what works best for U. Sometimes n in most cases if the depression, anxiety n panic is severe they/doctors will prescribe both an antidepressant n a 'Benz' to help with the anxiety & panic. Have U ever tried Klonupin or Xanax ? Both r good for anxiety n panic. Klonupin takes time to get onto your system before it starts working. Once it's in your system it works. Xanax starts working almost immediately. Both r addictive especially Xanax, but as long as U take it as directed n less, U will probably manage well. And of course when getting off of any drug, you taper down. And remember all antidepressants can work differently for each of Us. What works for one might not work for another! I'm now on Prozac n have taken it in the past as well, I'm also taking Doxipin. Doxipin at night before bed n Prozac in the morning. So far so good... fingers crossed. Please give Us an update on how U r doing n what's working best for U. ~ God Bless ~
