Would Zoloft be as effective and safe taken in the morning and at bedtime?
Rwald; normally most take it one or the other and about the same time of the morning or evening but if the doctor prescribed one does it seems to help more if you just take it once a day at which works the best for you morning or evening if you just started it and are having some problems that can be normal for the first 1 to 2 weeks then these side effects should go away. But if your having to much problems give your doctor a call. Good luck to you chuck1957
Did your doctor tell you to take it twice a day? I am on 50 mg and I take mine at bed time which works great for me. You should ask your doctor or pharmacists as they are the experts. My friend chuck is correct it takes at least two to three weeks for the drug to start taking effect, and a total of four to six weeks to reach therapeutic levels. Hope this helps.
