... normal to have an occasional very minor down day?
Hi, geokar! Good to hear from you and I'm happy to hear you're doing well! I guess my answer would be that everyone has an occasional down day and if it's *very minor* I wouldn't worry about it at all. But if you have days of feeling really down or it gets to be habitual you should let your doctor know. It's good that a relatively low dose is working for you but you have plenty of room to up it a bit if needs be.
Best regards and stay in touch, okay? Wildcat
Wildcatvet gave you very good advice.
I usually determine if a drug is working by staying on it for 3 months.
When I was in good shape prior to the drug, I also would have down days but that was normal for me.
If I'm having the same or more down days then I reconsider whether I'm going to talk to the doc about continuing on it.
I also factor in the side effects.
If they interfere with my lifestyle than it's definately something I'll consider changing.
It's all about weighing the pros and cons.
geokar; Yes my friend WildCat as always did a very good job. I would worry more if I did not have a day or two that I am off a bit. Now if this stayed this way for a few weeks time to see the doctor.
I would like to add on the down days try and take it easy Breath in deep and out slow and also if you do any exercise it's still good to do.It takes your mind off of dwelling on what cause the odd days or thinking oh boy here they come again. It's just best to ignore them. have a great day. Chuck1957
