Why is Zofran prescription only when it appears to be a strong stomach antacid?

Zofran and the generic ondansetron is not an antacid. Its drug class is GASTROINTESTINAL ANTIEMETICS and is usually used for nausea. Nexium or omeprazole are the ones that would be better an antacid
