I've had problems that sound very similar to yours-I've had a fusion at c4-5 and other discs that are a problem both my neck and lower spine have given me pain and spams and neuropathy. After quite a few different doctors and different meds I have had some relief from flexeril for spasms-neurontin for the neuropathy(that even worked for my dads severe diabetic neuropathy) and tizanidine which I got from my neurologist-it works differently than the flexeril-used more for rigidity and spasms-the combo seems to help me. Keep trying new meds sometimes it takes a few docs and different combinations-to find the relief needed to get through the day. I also had a lot of trouble finding a pain med that didn't give me awfull side effects but I now use fentanyl patch-which helps. Hope you find your answer soon--hang in there!!kim
