I've been on Alesse 21 for a month now and I'm on my second pack. My partner and I have been using protection but we want to try having sex without the protection. I also haven't had sex with anyone else but him so is it safe for me to have unprotected sex now that I'm on my second pack of birth control pills?
It would not be unprotected sex. The point of birth control is to protect you from pregnancy. What's the point of being on the pill if your going to use a condom?? Yes, you are safe from pregnancy to have sex with out a condom (but not safe from STDs if he has had past partners). So don't worry. If you ever miss any pills or stop taking bc for a while and then start again, then you will need a condom for the first 7 days while on the pill and then you are safe.
