I am 18 years old I started taking this birth control when I was around 15/16. We had sex three times yesterday within a three hour period. He did not use a condom. I do not know if he ejaculated all three times.
Birth control pills prevent you from ovulating. No egg =no baby no matter how many sperm are present. Taking more pills wont decrease your chances for pregnancy, it will only increase side effects from the hormones. Birth control pills work in other ways too. They decrease the monthly build up of lining in the uterus which makes the uterus less hospitable to a fertilized egg (if one would happen to occur) and it also thickens cervical mucus which makes it difficult for sperm to "swim" to find an egg. Like KM said, if you take one pill a day at approximately the same time every day, you have about a 1-2% chance of pregnancy. This is as good as it gets. The only thing that is 100% is abstinence. If you are not willing to risk a 1-2% chance of pregnancy then you may not be mature enough to be having sex, simple as that.
