Your blood is not actually thinner. Its the same viscosity as always. It does not clot as easily. Some people say they are colder when they take coumadin. Rarely it can give you chills.
A lot of people complain about being cold while taking Coumadin. If this is a problem and you are not maintaining your INR levels then you should discuss with your doctor or hematologist about switching to Arixtra, Lovenox, or Xarelto.
