Do you take the first pill the first day of bleeding? And if so, the peach or white ones??
You are supposed to get instructions with them. You start them either on the first day of your period or the Sunday after your period starts. You have 21 pills of one color and 7 of another color. Those 7 pills are sugar pills you will have your period when you are taking them. You start the active pills, these are the ones that have 21 in the pack. Be sure you use a condom for the first 7 days you are taking the pill.
White pills are active pills, start with those. The peach ones are for the last week of your cycle. This is when you should get your period but that may not be regular when you are first starting. You may have irregular bleeding or breakthrough bleeding the first few months. Once you start the pills, just keep taking them as they come in the pack no matter what your body does. Use condoms as back up for at least the first seven days, better yet, the whole first cycle but at minimum, until you have taken seven consecutive days of active pills.
