I've been on the Nuvaring for two months straight. I ask the question knowing how dumb it sounds because I used the first ring for 4 weeks instead of 3 like I was told to. The last time I did 4 weeks I ended up getting my period, meaning the last like 4 days I wasn't actually getting protection from the ring. Anyways. I waited the 4 weeks with ring #1 and then put ring #2 in right away so I could skip my period. I'm pretty much just wondering if anyone here knows if it's possible to get pregnant in that situation. I've had heachaches 4 days in a row and woken up feeling pretty sick the last few mornings. Just curious for anyone's knowledge on it.
Here's where your reasoning is wrong. You are protected while you have your period. You can do that schedule with the ring, without compromising your period. The ring would be good for 4 weeks, so you can leave one in 4 weeks then just put a new one in. I'm not. sure where the idea came that you aren't protected during your period when you're on birth control, but its not right. Headaches aren't a sign of pregnancy.
