To my surprise, hydroxyzine and topamax have a major interaction. It basically causes overheating. Now, sometimes the interactions checker is a little dramatic and your doc may prescribe it anyways. If doc says to do it, do it. The pseudoephedrine doesn’t interact with either. If you take the topamax as a mood stabilizer, pseudoephedrine may increase your mood, but that doesn’t have anything to do with the drug interaction. Bipolar people sometimes just can’t take pseudoephedrine.
This is something I highly would advise you to avoid. Because these both work on the central nervous system but have two opposite reactions... hope this helps.
