... bseverev swelling with my vfeet ankles and calves up to my knees and the other thing is I cant seem to stay awake I keep as I would say dozing off
hi unicorn, I just had sepsis, admitted mid august for gallbladder removal. and sepsis. I stayed ten days, and during that time my ankles which hada been somewhat swollen before swollen all the way to my knees also I had been unable to stay awake, falling asleep during dinner with food in my mouth, during conversations..just unreal. when I left hospital, the drs said the swelling would go away and it did but not until I spent two days with my feet elevated day and night about fifty minutes of every hour as advised by my pharmacist who couldnt reach the dr for lasix which I wanted. all those iv fluids were hard to process I guess, but my swelling is still gone 7weeks later, and although I am tired, sleepy and weak, I am much less sleepy and have watched entire movies without dozing off but not always. please, please let me know how things are for you. my fami,ly said I should see a heart dr, but the physicians assistant I saw in followup said sepsis was the problem.
I am awaiting results of blood work for vit d and anemia. i am really anxious to hear how you are faring. thanks so much and best wishes
