Is it normal to have a racing heart beat? I dream crazy dreams that literally wake me up out of my sleep to a super racing heat beat. Is that normal?
You should contact your doctor ASAP. Weird dreams can actually be a sign of liver trouble, but the fact you keep waking with a racing heart and take have high BP means you may need medicine for it, or if you're already on it one then it may also be a reason to schedule a visit - the med may not be the right one or right dose for you.
Or possibly you're experiencing panic attacks - this could be stress/life related or even a medication side effect.
The other possibility is that you may be anemic from all the bleeding and clots. In cases like this your BP may be lower than usual for you and your heart rate increases.
Have you had labs drawn recently?
The cause is more likely to be what Ssrr1111 explained but this may be making it worse. Anemia can also cause your thinking KT be off because your oxygen level to your brain is lowered from the anemia.
Best wishes and I hope you get this resolved. Anything disturbing your sleep needs to be fixed.
