My fiancé's mother is on medications for her heart, (she had hert surgery about 12 years ago) I know there is some cold medications she is not supposed to take. I was just wondering what she can take. She also has Alzheimer's disease and takes medication for that.
I'm not sure what counters the heart meds that your fiancés mother is on. But I do know I have a heart "issue" of being chronically tachycardic and I can't have anything with a decongestant in it... Which can seem like everything at times! Basically I stick to the neti-pot, a saline spray up my nose for decongestion, and original Buckleys for all the other "cold" issues. Just ask your pharmacist, they are super helpful! Good luck. Melinda.
