my daughter is 25 and has fibromialgia and is losing insurance, I am researching how to get her medications costs much lower of for free. I have been told to contact the manufacters of the meds, but I dont know how to find out who they are?
Click on the link for a list of pharmaceutical companies:
Or you can click on comment and write the medications down, and I will help you.
You can google the names of the meds and that should give you links, and also if you call a pharmacy they can direct you on what to do. I had that same problem and I went to target because thay have a $4.00 prescription list and maybe you daughters meds is on that list and if not you can pick up a list from target and show her doc and there might be a genertic form of her meds on the list, pls let me know if this helps
Hey there Alison! I checked out one of my meds on the pill identifier here on drugs.com. They ask you, step by step, what the letters are on the pill, then color and shape. Then you'll find out what the med is, and sometimes the manufacturer. Then, do a google search, asking what manufacturer makes this med. You'll find your answer right away. I pray you find your answer. The drug companies were soooo helpful. I did get my meds for free. It was amazing! God bless you, Alison. Take care. Anna
I have Neuropathy, which is nerve damage in my feet, legs & hands.Fibromyalgia is also nerve damage (in the muscle).I take Lyrica 300mg which is prescribed for both.It works for me about 80 percent of the pain. The manufacturer is Pfizer. I went to a good clinic since I am jobless and no insurance.Doctor visits are very little $ and the RX assistance program , which most clinics work with, Got my script free thru Pfizer.PS. thats a very young age to get Fibromyalgia and I don't believe there is a cure as peripheral neuropathy dos'nt have one.A lot of the B vitamins everyday(B1 B6 B12). Check out this wesite "WebMD.com , tells you all you need to know about any health problem. Hope this helps, TReeves
