I had to sleep apnea test done and I was told I snore and Im waiting for the doctor to call so I can get this mask to wear to bed at night. My pain doctor ordered it to see if I had apnea and if so that I wear the mask and it will help lose some weight to help relieve some pain in my lower back. How do you feel after starting out wearing it and does it really make u feel better in the morning?
When the brain doesn't get enough oxygen during sleep, a damage can occur to the body and brain. I had to use such a machine for two weeks for my lung disease while clearing a pneumonia. I found that I slept much longer, soundly, and that it didn't bother me at all. People feel much better in general and learn why a good nights sleep is priceless. I thought the noise of the machine and the mask would be hard to deal with. It was easy. I say go for it and enjoy some good rest. Losing the weight really helps you breathe better and when you are doing better you will feel like taking a walk or getting out more. Good luck with this.
