Typically you wait at least 6 weeks, possibly 8 weeks to feel the full effects of Prozac/fluoxetine. You should feel it starting to work well before then, maybe starting in the 2nd week, but we are all different. It's not the kind of drug you expect to feel a change right after you take it, it has a longer life than that. It's effects last throughout many hours and accumulate as the days pass. By the 4th week, you should see definite progress, but even more will come in the following weeks. Hang in there, there's every reason to hope this will help you. This drug has an outstanding record of success.
