My mom tells me she has pancreatic cancer. And I'm not sure if pancreatic cancer is the same as exocrine pancreatic insuffciency
no, they are not the same. she may have pancreas cancer but not pancreatic exocrine deficiency. if cancer is in endocrine part of pancreas she may need insulin.
I lost all pancreas functions when my body not only rejected my pancreas transplant after 3 years but my native pancreas also.
if your mom has exocrine pancreatic insufficiency she will feel a whole lot better with creon, vitamins a, d, b-12, and k sublingually only. pills will not be absorbed. we need vit e too but i can't find it in under-the-tongue form.
