If you mean amitriptyline, that is already used as an anti-anxiety med for dogs. It depends on the dosage of pill and size of dog that ate the pill, but I see you posted 15 hours ago, I hope your dog is okay by now and slept it off.
For future reference, if your dog ingests POISON or some other dangerous substance, CONSULT YOUR VET IMMEDIATELY -- but in an EMERGENCY you can give dog hydrogen peroxide by mouth, one teaspoon per 10 lbs of dog body weight. I did this PER MY VET'S INSTRUCTIONS with my chihuahua when I thought she ate 2 of my OTC diet pills. She up chucked within two minutes. (No pills in there, later I found them both under my TV.)
