... drugs in blister packed drugs is it safe to deliver them to the client in one med cup?
HCA trying to do a good job
It wont hurt to deliver them in the same cup when administering medicines. Warfarin doses tend to be changed often and sometimes held so a pharmacy wouldnt want to add it to a persons other medications for this reason. I have actually never seen where they pack all the meds in one blister pack. I have always gotten each med on a separate card. It doesnt hurt either the Warfarin or the other drugs to be put into a cup briefly for the patient to take their meds.
