I have been on effexor for about 5 months and have had few drinks on it with no side effects. I am Not at all a heavy drinker But I just started desipramine as well and was wondering if anyone had any experience with this combination?
Can you consume alcohol in small amounts on desipramine and effexor?

Hi, as Kaismama has said, it probably isn't a good idea, i say this particularly because you are also taking Desiprimine. The possible interaction risks can be amplified by drinking alcohol. Check out the link below...
I have drank whilst taking Effexor alone, and no problems, but obviously i couldn't say others would react the same way...
