My psych. wants me to try Wellbutrin to help with my Depression and to give me some energy but there is two reasons I have just yet said yes to her: 1. I remember having tried it about 9yrs. ago and I remember it not really doing anything but that was so long ago and I don't remember how long I stayed on it and 2. I don't want to ditch my Celexa so if I do decide to use Wellbutrin do I have to stop the Celexa? All advice welcome!
I am on the same combination of drugs. I have tried many different drugs and this seems to be helping. I only wanted to be on one drug but my dr. said she wants me to try the combination for a while. So far so good.
That's one thing nice about Wellbutrin. You can take it with certain other antidepressants. I take it with mine with great results.
I take both, as well, along with other meds. You don't want to know my story, it's too long... lol. Compared to other combinations, this marriage was a Godsend. Within two and a half weeks I was doing thing I hadn't in a long time. Just keep in touch with your Dr. Good luck!
