I am an alcoholic who binges and then abstains until something triggers me to drink. I am currently taking 250mg each night. I have relapsed several times over the last 10 years. I go to AA and counseling. I am hoping this drug keeps me sober for life. I am 57 and wonder if it is OK to take this drug for the rest of my life?
Can you take Antabuse for several years?

Sober good for you. And yes it is okay to take the antabuse forever and stick with the aa you will be fine. Another thing for sure is that the antabuse is not going to do any more damage then the alcohol would do. Have a good day.
