My psychiatrist prescribed me Vyvanse last year. After I started taking it, I finally felt normal. Unfortunately, my insurance doesn't really cover Vyvanse and there isn't a generic. I reached out to my doctor to see if there was a similar medicine that was affordable because I couldn't afford to pay for it every month anymore. Over the last several months my doctor prescribed me Conerta which didn't work at all, and Adderall XR which barely did anything. Vyvanse is definitely what works for me but I wish there was options to make it more affordable. Any suggestions??? I've tried contacting Shire. Also, Blue Cross Blue Sheild says they don't really cover Vyvanse. Any recommendations of another insurance that does cover it???
