Hi, pixi! Yes, they can under a doctor's supervision.

Hi. I take 60 mg Cymbalta.I have been stable on Cymbalta and 5 mg Abilify for 7 years. But my neurologist/sleep specialist took me off abilify recently to help my restless leg syndrome that abilify can exacerbate. The withdrawal from abilify has been pure hell. Anxiety, depression, racing thoughts, etc. I have been miserable. Docs have started titrating lamictal now. From experiencing this awful abilify withdrawal I would advise you not to start taki.g it. Try something else. Good luck!

I've been taking Abilify for over 5 years with no ill effects. When I had to stop it abruptly for an unrelated medical emergency I had no discontinuation symptoms at all. Lucky me, I'm in the majority. Meanwhile, adding Abilify to my Bipolar medications changed my life... for the much better.
