Say you are taking one from your doctor, and than you want to take something that is all Natural. will it affect or interact with the other medication?
Mixing herbs and pharmaceuticals can be dangerous. Just because something is "all natural" doesnt equal safe. There are a lot of very powerful medications that are "natural". Foxglove contains digitalis and enough of it will stop a mans heart. So "all natural" doesnt mean something is safe, especially when mixing it with a pharmaceutical that may have the same action. Dog poop is "all natural" but that doesnt mean it is good for you to consume. You should always consult a physician before adding any herbal supplements, especially when you are on pharmaceuticals.
