So I took the pill after a little over 24hrs after my "oops" and woke up this morning with pretty bad cramps and a terrible yeast infection. Could this mean that it may not have worked or am I over thinking it? Had anyone else experienced this?
Plan B would cause cramps but not a yeast infection, to the best of my awareness.
You need to be sure that your yeast infection is not a Sexually Transmitted Disease. They can be carried without the carrier knowing, sometimes.
A man can also carry Thrush without symptoms, but pass it to the woman. She treats herself, but he does not, so he keeps reinfecting her.
These symptoms have no bearing on whether or not Plan B worked. There's no way of knowing that until you are far enough in the future to do a pregnancy test.
Do you know if you were in your fertile time of your cycle when the accident happened? If you were, Plan B was not the best method of emergency contraception for you, & you'd need one of the other methods, if you're still within 5 days of the unprotected sex.
