About 16 years ago I was taking Effexor and noticed I was yawning more. Maybe the drug was working and my body was getting more oxygen into the brain , someone told me that's what happens when you yawn, anyway I never liked the way the drug took away my normal way of alertness to every day situations,I'd be kinda dopey, which I hated, so I weaned myself off the drug. Over the last several years I've used alcohol to feel better but the next day as expected I'm hungover and realised it was fun for a while . At least I'm a happy drunk , my kids enjoy me when I've had a few drinks . I noticed Effexor has hydro chloride as one of its ingredients and that is a blood pressure related drug, do all antidepressants have hydrochloride?
