... taking it because is making me feel terrible. My question is if I quit it today when will have my period? The only reason why I'm on the pill is because I'm going on holiday in three weeks time and I didn't want to have my period... but maybe it's been a bad idea
The best way to avoid a period is to keep taking it and when it comes time for the break in the pills, start a new pack instead. With only taking it for 5 days its hard to say if you'd have break thru bleeding now or not. Most of the side effects do go away when you get used to it.
Sometimes women have side effects when they start the Pill. This should go away soon. It can cause nausea, headache bloating-basically PMS like symptoms but they usually go away in a few weeks. You are probably going to feel better if you can stick it out the rest of the month. It is hard to say if you quit right now when your period would come. Every woman responds differently. If you take this packs active pills and go to the next packs active pills, skipping the inactive ones, you should be able to avoid your period.
