I have had RA FOR 12 years, very well controlled and mainly inactive due to Methotrexate treatment. I have had no success with any antihistamines this spring for seasonal hayfever. Tried xyzal and have been taking for about a month with some success. However I have experienced pain in hands and feet, fatigue and the worst RA flare since diagnosis. I have developed my first nodule on knuckle and am in constant pain. The only thing that has changed in my life is the introduction of s daily dose of xyzal.
My mother has suffered with RA for 20 years. Despite the constant excruciating pain she refuses all narcotics. Here are names of her anti-inflammatory meds. Prenisone, celebrex & has weekly injection of methotrexate. There's also a monthly injection of another kind. Do you need me to get all the names & get back to you? What have your drs done for you? And how long have you had it?
