three years ago my husband ended up in the hospital with conjestive heart failure and irregular heart beat , he was put on commudin and a year later was switched to xarelto and a year after that he was diagnosed with Primary Myleofibrosis a blood disorder that has been re diagnosed as blood cancer . he has been currently on iron pills for anemia, which I thought was just low iron to find out now that it is something more.
There are many different anemias. Xarelto can cause agranulocytosis. The white blood cells and neutrophils are low in this disorder.
