I take xarelto at lunch because this is my only big meal. Is this a problem?

No this is not a problem. The reason for taking Xarelto with a meal is because it is poorly absorbed if taken on an empty stomach (except in the case of tbe 10 mg doseage). Absorbtion is greatly increased if taken with food. Therefore the medication is much more effective. Some patients mistakenly think that it has to do with upsetting an empty stomach. That is not the case. Try to take it at close to the same time each day and with food.
