I have researched a lot and found there are a lot of natural thinners you can take..Is it true that doctors are compensated highly when they prescribe these expensive dangerous drugs. My doctor acts like he don't really care and he is very quick to write out that script! I cannot afford to go to another town to see doctors as I am 71 and a widow on SS. I just want to live rest of my life as comfortable as I can without all these pains and other problems... I was not too bad before Xarelto. Afib mostly under control and arthritis was mild...
I have AFib and take a baby aspirin every day for blood thinning. My risk of stroke hasn’t been high and I really didn’t like the side effects of Xarelto. I had to take it for my ablation, but went back to aspirin after 3 weeks. I also switched to a more open-minded Electrophysiologist who was willing to listen to me and take my concerns seriously. I feel much better on aspirin! My first EP put me on Warfarin and never mentioned aspirin as an option. I like my new guy better. Hope that helps!
