dont know any more about this drug. i am on lovenox shots right now for blood-clots in legs. dr. has recommended xarelto for later?
There is no antidote, nor can it be dialyzed out. Treatment in case of bleeding is just withold any xarelto. It has a half life of up to 9 hrs, so it would be up to 45 hrs before it was out of your system. These new pills also do not have a test to monitor its effect.
I do not recommend Xarelto i was on it and nearly died. I went through the lovenox shots 3 times a day. Hospital with heparin warfarin. U name it. I ended up on eliquis. Its much better i highly recommend it i feel Xarelto is dangerous. I hemoraged and they couldnt stop it.
